I think Harris wins the popular vote fairly easily but the electoral college will be harder. To actually win she will have to win not just the vote but the geography including lots relatively low population density areas that have in recent decades voted right of center. All votes are not equal in this system. Where is this baby? I think most of us want to see the baby? Best wishes for you and your child. I wasn't much of a parent but I made it, my daughter survived and eventually became an adult, a voter even.

We had our first baby girl in April 2024 - I was so scared but now I absolutely am loving being a dad I knew I always wanted to. And yes I get you I don’t care about politics I care about the future. Congrats Shoe, best of luck with the new baby! As for who I think will win. I thought Trump had in the bag between the debate and that post-assassination attempt photo with the flag, but with Biden dropping out, I think Kamala has a chance because even though Trump is way less senile than Biden, he's still super old, so if Harris plays that angle and does what Bernie says and stumps on worker's rights she may have a chance to win.

Harris wins...but not by a landslide, which causes Trump and Trumpers to say it was a fixed/fake election rather than step aside. I think Harris is going to win for the same reason Biden won - Democrats and independents voting against Trump. Trump got 11M more votes in 2020 than 2016, but he lost because people turned out in even greater numbers to vote against him. And I don't see people having changed their minds since then - especially after Jan 6 and the more recent convictions. Either way, we all lose. At least Shoe will have plenty to talk about for the foreseeable future.
