I rarely have cereal, because when I do, I have to buy milk, and then I'm committed to cereal until the milk is gone. I have been buying pint bottles to minimize that, but sometimes when I do have the milk and cereal, I tend to eat it for breakfast and dinner. It makes a great default choice when I don't feel inspired to fix anything else.

It's not leftover if you make enough for two meals. Add a little something to it and it is a whole new meal. Add macaroni to the chili soup from Monday, sprinkle it with shredded cheese on Wednesday and you now have chili mac. Cooking just enough for one is a pain so cook for two and modify. Never had cereal for dinner but many times have had pancakes or waffles with the usual sides for dinner.

Leftover buffet meals are my favourite tbh, cause then I get to eat whichever dinner I want :P
