Patreon and Apple Updates
Added 2024-08-14 02:55:24 +0000 UTCAnyone who is also subscribed to other Patreons might have seen posts about this already, but in November of this year Apple will be implementing changes on how they process Patreon transactions on the Patreon app download from the Apple app store. They're adding a 30% charge on all new transactions or subscriptions (according to the information I got from Patreon directly no existing subscriptions should be effected but who knows if that'll hold true) so just watch out. Apparently you can still sign up through the actual Patreon website and not incur any extra charges and still use the app to browse or read posts.
