From the age of 13 I have looked at myself as a man of faith not so much religious. Due to the fact we don't get all the information because of the book burnings. I gave this movie a 75 when I first seen it. Interestingly enough there is a book of Mary and a book of Philip.

2021-11-20 06:42:55 +0000 UTCOk lol. I get your POV forsure. I didn't know you were watching the extended version (I had no clue there even was one) but I found it to be way to drawn out. The original cut was much better imo as there was just way too many needless scenes in this one. I promise I will do better next time lol. I too grew up in the church as southern Baptist in Cincinnati. The church I grew up in was Calvary Baptist church in Milford OH off Rt 28. We had to go to church Sunday morning and Night and Wednesday night. We also went to every gathering and had to volunteer for every bake sale, car wash etc. Church camp for 3 weeks every summer. I pretty much know the Bible front to back so I understand where you come from. I apologize if the movie made you uncomfortable. That wasn't my intention. I view this as a fun but fictional movie not intended for anything else. I believe in God still I just don't agree with the things the church was doing. I found many of them to be hypocrites. It made it hard for me to open up to another church. I still pray and read my Bible but I worship in my own way. It's okay this wasn't your taste but I promise for something different next month.
