Like you said it does a lot of building between the lighter movies in the beginning and leads into what you know will involve more Voldemort and maturity from the characters. However this was one of my favourite books! There are a lot of really interesting details and additions in the book that just didn’t make it into the screenplay that make things more high stakes. It’s less ‘Voldemort vs. Harry’ and more the good working together against those who would create a worse world if you will. If you ever have time I highly recommend reading the books and comparing the two!
