August's ~beta reading/writing experiment~

This is the first time I've ever attempted an experiment like this and I need y'alls help.

The concept: I'm writing a short story for WE'RE NOT HOME, the horror anthology organized by our very own authortube friend, Cam Wolfe is Writing. I thought it would be really cool to show what the beta reading, review, and revision process on a short story looks like.

Aaaaaaand I would love to have y'all be the beta readers! (If you're interested and like horror, obviously bahaha.)

My hope is to have 3 "rounds" of beta readers so I can show how often certain critiques come up (like if people are saying the same thing is an issue) and how I change that for the next round, etc. The due date for the short story is August 20th and I should finish the first draft by the end of this weekend (August 9th). During each round, I'd like to have ~5 readers.

The short story does talk about COVID and does have a possession-y/supernatural element, so if those are no goes for you, I totally understand!!!
