Bundy Deposes Dr. Wood
Added 2021-08-15 05:43:47 +0000 UTCTed directly and graphically questions Dr. Thomas Wood, the coroner who autopsied Lisa Levy and Margaret Bowman, on November 14, 1978. He frequently asks the doctor to point out the victims' injuries on their autopsy photographs, and describe in vivid detail the injuries to their genitals.

I know that the consensus is that TB thought he was smarter than his lawyers, and he thought he would never be convicted. But I do think it is possible that he subconsciously may have been sabotaging the case, or at least passively not using his "legal smarts" because he did have some need to just end it all. When he was found guilty, his total lack of reaction seemed not in keeping with his personality during the trial. I really thought he was relieved. Until the death penalty became a reality to him, that is.

Not saying that would be all there is but on one level. (What's the right way to question a coroner when rape and murder is involved?)

2021-08-18 23:50:42 +0000 UTCI believe that after he was convicted in Utah he didn't educate prisoners about their legal rights but also he was educated by prisoners. They educated him in many things especially every hardened prisons favorite topic...ESCAPE. Requesting to represent himself and taking all these depositions were merely a ruse so that he could find the perfect opportunity to escape. (Just my opinion but a very strong one).

2021-08-16 22:18:29 +0000 UTCI agree. I was looking for any logical reason why it would be necessary to ask all these questions, but found none. In my opinion, it just shows how impaired his judgment was, considering the fact it was a capital case and his own life was at stake.

2021-08-15 18:14:03 +0000 UTCI’m not a lawyer, so I couldn’t be sure. That said, I really don’t think there was a legal reason to do so, let’s put it that way.
