Content Exclusivity?

Hi all, I wanted to get your feedback on whether I should eventually post content to my other platforms outside of Patreon (of course only after subscribers have seen it first). I noticed a lot of other channels do this.

If so, how much time should pass before outside distribution?

I was surprised you asked this, as you seem now so adamantly against general sharing, but perhaps your position has evolved over time. For me, the obvious would to be post 'teasers', little snippets to then encourage people to subscribe and pay for the privilege to share in your excellent work and - to some extent - the consummate, scintillating mind which produced it.

Great feedback y'all, thank you! I think I might post some things, only occasionally, and only after they've been on Patreon for at least a month, if not more. If anyone strongly disagrees with this going forward, please let me know. Thanks for your continued support friends!

I would also only release a section online of what you release on Patreon and indicate that more is to be found on Patreon. I would not release everything That would create interest in your Patreon, to ensure people will still join. You also need to be paid for your efforts.

If it would help to expand public awareness of your efforts in wouldn’t bother me. I could see how a selective release of info could grow the Patreon membership which benefits us all.

Thanks for your feedback. To clarify, I wouldn’t release everything- just select things, now and then, as long as the minimum amount of time had passed. Does that change your opinion?

Tiffany J.

I would still keep my membership if you posted items elsewhere after a month but I fear some might think to drop out if they only had to wait a month. I appreciate having new information become available every so often. I would hate to see that end do to low participation. Keep up the good work!
