Ted talks about Sheridan Street, Johnnie Bundy, and witnesses

In this third installment recorded from the Orange County jail in 1980, Ted discusses his early memories of life on Sheridan Street in Tacoma, his relationship with his adoptive father, and his concerns about the witnesses testifying against him in the Kimberly Leach case.

Sorry for the thumping sounds in the middle portion; I couldn't figure out how to get rid of those.

I feel like that might be the case but I’m rather thankful that he did. I mean he could very well have done this on his own in his cell.

Michaud talked about that... This is before he came up with the “third person” strategy. Michaud described these early tapes as “narcissistic” and “useless”- they’re Bundy imagining himself to be some sort of celebrity having a biography written about his life.

It's interesting....It seems like he feels that he is an extraordinarily important person and creating a record of his life is of great value

Bravo! It’s nice to just hear him talk. I watched the Bundy tapes on Netflix and while enlightening it was also cringe. Everyone’s got a story to tell. These tapes are Ted story. All him, no one else. I also thought he sounds a little different here. Less enunciated and more relaxed. Thank you Again!!!
