"Memories that Will Not Die"

I found this very interesting article recently, written right before the execution in 1989. The journalist tracked down the surviving Chi Omega sisters for interviews about that terrible night in 1978, and what life was like for them afterwards.
Really moving and emotional stuff.

I just got done rewatching the Falling for a Killer Amazon documentary and I have new appreciation for this post because I may be incorrectly equating Diane McCain with Diane Cossin (I doubt it) but in any event I very much appreciate this perspective on the event.

An excellent and really touching article. Lisa Levy´s room mate was incredibly lucky to be out on that night, and Sandra´s story gave me chills - one could wonder what would have happened if she had left the bathroom a few seconds earlier and bumped into Bundy in the hallway. It is devastating how poorly Chi Omega handled the crisis and how little help and support was given to the victims.

Much of what we can learn from the whole Ted Bundy case, is how much the aftermath of trauma needs to be courageously attended to, with sensitivity.
