My family believes that execution is the only just punishment. My mother suffered a stroke-- attributable in a large measure to Margaret's death. You might say that in addition to the murder of my daughter, my mother is being killed also.
I have given long and serious thought to my feelings on the death penalty in the past week. I can find very little if anything which deals with the compassion (rather, lack of it) shown by the murderer to the victim-- nor does the media reflect the feelings of the victims's family.
