Added 2023-07-12 05:12:48 +0000 UTCThe final interview Ted allowed with Florida investigators Bodiford, Patchen, and Chapman. Bodiford seems to be trying to convince Ted that he could be a victim of multiple personality disorder in a last attempt to compel a confession. Bundy has completely withdrawn from his earlier, more malleable state of mind:
"I mean, I do truly believe I’m innocent. And I sit up in my cell and I believe it. And I also believe that I can deal with, uh… the difficulties that I’ve had in the past. I want to be able to do that. In spite of past failures, I do. I remain optimistic that it can be done.... Ted Bundy has never killed anyone, and that's all there is to it."
The last 15 minutes were from another tape, and I wasn't able to find a transcription of it anywhere, so I've just included the first transcribed portion.

Thanks for getting back, Tiff. Hope you're well. Oh, from the language I got the impression Tucker must have had a physical defect of some kind too. I will look for the others then. Thanks.

2023-07-20 08:40:58 +0000 UTCIt's in there, but not on this tape. This was his last interview with them and he's not as open as he was initially. I've posted two earlier interviews previously. I have more but they're in bad shape and it's a lot of work to fix them up. But I am.... slowly.

2023-07-19 16:41:11 +0000 UTCFrank Tucker was the Colorado district attorney who was prosecuting Bundy for the Caryn Campbell murder. He flew to Florida after Bundy's capture in an attempt to extradite him back to Colorado. Bundy had a lot of disdain for him. He referred to him as "handicapped" because he had such a low opinion. He wasn't wrong-- Tucker had his own legal issues. He was caught using public money to acquire an abortion for his teenage girlfriend he'd had an adulterous affair with. Yes I've also posted two of the earlier interviews.

2023-07-19 16:38:26 +0000 UTCIs this the infamous “Sometimes I feel like a Vampire” Almost confession ? Don’t think I actually heard that line; Not as incriminating as they describe in the books

2023-07-12 23:18:07 +0000 UTCWho is the Tucker they keep laughing about? How was he handicapped? Does ted say "the handicapped can offend the watching" - is what elicited such collective laughter? Anyone know? There also seems to be a running joke at the beginning I can't quite make out. Do we have the other interviews when he is more malleable? I heard they were "too garbled" to make out. Thanks.
