This article has been generously shared with us by HIT friend and fellow Bundy researcher JB.  In his words:

"As an artifact it’s especially interesting due to its content and date. It posits the theory at the time that the Ted murders and the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker murders were committed by the same killer, and/or possibly by the Zodiac Killer, and/or part of a witchcraft or Satanic cult circles. Though of course they are not connected, it’s not difficult to see how investigators would consider the possibilities at the time. (In particular the confluence of dates - for example, the last of the suspected California killings was in December 1973, and the Zodiac’s correspondence had stopped in 1970 and picked up again in January 1974.)

The dates of the article/issue itself are also historically interesting. The interview/story is dated to June of 1975; and the September publishing date means that it was most likely on stands in August, either during or immediately following Bundy’s first arrest."

Thank you so much JB!
