Ted's public school transcript includes report cards, personality notes from his teachers, health records, and aptitude/IQ tests. Some of the more interesting takeaways include IQ scores consistently measured around 120, documentation of a head injury in March 1965, and these quotes from his teachers:

"Teddy seems to be a trifle mischevious. He forgets sometimes and is boisterous. Cries if he feels he is going to be disciplined for wrong doing."

"Likes to do superior work. Capable but has a superiority attitude. Takes correction but sensitive to it. Doesn't like to be singled out for discipline. Rough in his play sometimes. Nervous, noisy, interrupts frequently."

"He seeks attention in any way he can get it and often reverts to being silly. Not too well liked."

There's no evidence Bundy ever chronically wet the bed, set fires, or abused animals that I'm aware of. I know the sister of a neighborhood friend named Sandi Holt claimed he set cats on fire in the Netflix documentary and Rebecca Morris's book, but after digging into her background I don't really buy that story. During the original investigation, when police interviewed practically everyone he'd ever met, no one mentioned animal abuse at all, even when his childhood friends were specifically asked about it. I'm not sure whether the minor head injury played a role in what he became. He was already exhibiting voyeuristic traits and consuming detective magazine "porn" as early as 14 or 15. I suppose it's possible a TBI could have contributed to the transition from that kind of behavior into a killer, but it's impossible to really know.

A good percentage of these sociopathic, sexual sadists have that history. Of those it would be interesting to see how many exhibited Triad beforehand.

These medical records said he did. He also told his psychiatrist that he’d briefly gone unconscious.

He was in an auto accident. Anyone know more? Like did he have a head injury?

If anyone has trouble reading cursive this is what I manage to make out. Not 100%: “**6/10/55** **Teddy has made very good progress in reading.** Reading work shows more ease through tally – high word and sound understanding, word recall, and easy look-up information. Is excellent in spelling, numbers, language, drawing, and writing. Independent thinker at solving other to-do figure work and doodle. But has a surprising attitude! Takes correction but sensitive to it. Doesn't like to be singled out for visible reproving though plays act times. Little soft on fundamentals. Takes speech correction, which he resented at first. He did read haltingly. Cooperates along on good project group teaching. Shows interest and retains some in film strips on art. Nervous. Interrupts frequently. **6-56** Today saw courage and improvement! May achieve missed details and begin skill use when certain in around a fact and correct word in action that assures pride in work. Full activity in group class aid ability as subject actions rise results to finality. **6/17** **Teddy has some "bullyish" actions that gradually he must overcome.** But attitude at times, he might win world respect! He read in an entire story and sentence, was reading in group. Slow, but scribbly could go after even in giving up. Poster. **6-58** Ted had streaks of childish actions. Very hard-working, energy ambitious. Good athlete but a poor effort in courage.“
