October 2024 Update
Added 2024-10-03 17:00:11 +0000 UTCWhew, what a month September was! I did a LOT of writing, and managed to finish Book Two of Suddenly A Succubus while also keeping up with my regular releases of Blood & Chlorophyll.
Speaking of Suddenly A Succubus, I was absolutely floored by how well the ending of Book Two was received. I had a feeling it would do well, but I never imagined the reception it ended up getting. Chapter 26 spent a whole day as the highest rated story on all of Literotica, and is now comfortably sitting at Number Three.
I won't lie, I'm a tiny bit nervous about jumping into Book Three after all that love. It's got a different vibe to it, so hopefully everyone enjoys the change of pace.
Of course, all the extra work I was doing on finishing Book Two meant that, again, I wasn't able to return to Tessa's Side Story. I promise I'm not trying to ignore it, but I keep getting caught off guard with the amount of writing I'm doing for other projects.
In other SaS news, I finally received all the notes and feedback from my Editor! She had a lot of great things to say, and a healthy helping of suggestions that would strengthen the story. Over the next few months, I'll be starting to chip away at revising SaS Book One, polishing it up so I can create the version that will ultimately be published. I'll have more to say about this as work continues, but right now I'm still very early in the process.
Blood & Chlorophyll continues chugging along, and I'm really happy with how the story is progressing. Our disaster lesbians finally kissed! Seeing them finally admit their feelings was such a treat, and now it's time to forge on to more dangerous encounters. I'm not entirely sure how long the book is going to end up being, though it's definitley become a longer title than I'd initially expected.
So what's going on in October? Well, I'm honestly going to be pretty busy again. See, for those of you that might not know, there's a big writing challenge that takes place every year called National November Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. The challenge exists to encourage writers to get out of their own head and just write, write, write. The goal is to write a total of 50,000 words in one month, which is certainly tough, but it's doable.
My current plan, and we'll see if it survives contact with the enemy, is to do a bunch of extra writing this month so that I have a backlog prepared for November. Then, while SaS and B&C continue posting as normal, I want to use NaNoWriMo to start a new book.
Now, I realize I'm being pretty ambitous here. If things start to grow stressful, I promise I won't run myself ragged, and I'll take the appropriate amount of time to relax. Mostly, I want to give this challenge a shot so I can start to build a picture of what my upper limits are. For the most part, my regular routine is to write a chapter a week, which is honestly a very comfortable goal. In the long term, however, I want more data about myself so I can understand what a realistic goal is for number of books written per year.
For all you wonderful patrons, the most important thing to know is that my work won't be interrupted in any way. You'll continue to get a chapter a week, alternating between my two stories.
Whenever Blood & Chlorophyll ends, its spot on my release schedule will be replaced by the book I'm starting for NaNoWriMo. It's a book I'm ridiculously excited for, and I can't wait to share it with you, even though I realize it could easily not start posting until next year. As always, I'll keep you updated!
Should you have any questions, you're always welcome to ask them here, or to message me directly. You're all such lovely people, and I'm flattered to have all your support.

A new book, you say? And a published version of Suddenly a Succubus? This is certainly shaping up to be an interesting couple of months!
