November 2024 Update
Added 2024-11-05 18:00:08 +0000 UTCHappy November! It's officially National November Writing Month!! I'm SO excited, you guys, I can't even. Last month was pretty hectic for me, as I was trying to write twice as much to ensure that I had a backlog for November. The good news is that I pretty much hit that goal! There are still some small things here and there that will require my attention, and obviously I still have to do all the site admin for all my sites, but I'm in a good place.
Chapters of Suddenly A Succubus and Blood & Chlorophyll will continue posting every week, just like before. However, most of this month will be spent writing a brand new book. I'm probably going to have a small preview up within the next week or so, so keep your eyes peeled!
On the topic of Suddenly A Succubus, we're starting to really dig into Book Three. I won't lie, now that I'm several chapters ahead of what you've all seen, I'm really excited to get further in this story. I think you're all really going like where it's going. I've been having a lot of fun working from a bit of a different angle, what with our girls trapped in another plane, and I'm happy with how distinct it's made the book feel.
Over on Literotica, I'm having some trouble getting Chapter 28 posted. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about this. I have to wait for the site admin to get around to reviewing it, and there's simply no way to know when that's going to happen. Whenever it posts, I'll be posting future chapters at an accelerated pace in order to catch up. If you happen to be a free member, or just visiting from any other sites, please remember that supporting me here not only gets you the most up-to-date chapters, but they're also guaranteed to be on time.
Regarding Blood & Chlorophyll, I don't have too much news. The story is going really well, and we're transitioning to the middle act of the book. It was so cathartic to see Kat and Alicia finally get together, and now we'll be able to explore their romance while also preparing for the Dungeoneering.
I did finally queue up my B&C backlog to start posting to ScribbleHub, and I'm thinking about doing the same on Royal Road, but I haven't made up my mind quite yet. The book overall is much more tame than I expected, which I think is great fun, but it means it will be easier to post it to sites that have more restrictive NSFW policies. If you're interesting in lending any support, feel free to visit my ScribbleHub page to give me some clicks, comments, and reviews!
Random other news! I've been much more active on Bluesky recently, as I got a big surge in followers and activity. Twitter recently rolled out more terrible decisions, which pushed a lot of people to Bluesky, so I'm doing my best to stay engaged over there. If you don't have an account, please consider making one! I'm doing a daily posting challenge where I talk about the book I'm writing for November!
I also updated the visuals for most of my Collections here on Patreon. I've recently thrown together some Book Covers for other sites I post to, and I wanted to bring those visuals here. Full disclosure, I'm not a graphic design pro. I didn't spend a lot of time on these graphics, I just wanted something quick that looked decent enough for random free sites, and I think I hit the mark on that note.
Last piece of news - I'll be putting out another Poll this Thursday! It's nothing crazy, but I need some help with a piece of worldbuilding, and I'd love to hear some more thoughts about it.
As always, feel free to message me directly if you have any questions or comments. The biggest benefit of this Patreon (in my opinion) is that I can be active and engaged with this wonderful community. I hope you all have a wonderful November, and I'll see you next time!
