May Update

Dang, it's May already? Like, the year is almost half over? That's pretty crazy. I'm trying to take advantage of the nicer weather to get out with my dog more often, which is nice, and hopefully you all have found some excuse to get outside yourself. I know we like our spooky basements and creepy corners, but the outside is a pretty great place, I promise.

I'd like to start with a little bit of personal news, if that's alright. I've got a new job! It's still a part-time gig, but I'll be working more hours than I was at my previous job. Money was getting pretty tight, and that's never a great feeling. Now, it's impossible for me to say this with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure the extra hours won't interfere with my writing schedule. So far, things have been going alright, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that continued to be the case.

That being said, if I ever get to a point where I'm starting to stress over my writing and posting schedule, you'll be the first ones to know. I love writing, and the last thing I want is for it to start to feel like an obligation. In the worst-case scenario, should it come to that, I would likely cut back on chapters for whatever book I'm writing that's not Suddenly A Succubus.

To be clear, I'm NOT planning on reducing my output right now.

As far as news for my actual projects, Suddenly A Succubus has been pretty chill. I'm extremely happy with how Book Four is coming together, and I think you're all going to be just as happy with some of what I'm writing ;)

The scene I'm writing this week is something I thought of over a year ago, and I can't wait to show everyone! That being said, we're only a few chapters away from the halfway point of the book, and one thing I've been realizing is just how dense Book Four is. (Chapter 43, which goes live this week for Patrons, is the second-longest chapter I've ever written) There's SO much stuff that needs to happen, and it's been an interesting journey figuring out where everything goes. I'll have more to say about this once the Book is wrapping up, of course.

Blood & Chlorophyll is almost done! I write the final chapter next week, which means my Patrons will be getting the end of the story on May 30th! It's crazy to think I've been writing that story for so long, especially since I never thought it would run for so long.

I can't wait to share what I've got lined up in my release schedule ;)
