Character Prompt - Daughter of Damnation

Now that Daughter of Damnation's opening chapter is out, I'd love to crowdsource some character ideas. In the past, I've given some vague direction about what kinds of characters I'm looking for (Athletes, non-delvers, etc.) but this time, the sky's the limit.
Without hinting at any spoilers, characters pitched here might be waitresses, receptionists, police officers, helicopter pilots, secret agents, witches, gravediggers... the list is endless.
An ideal pitch would include all, or some combination of, the following: Name, Appearance, Background, Personality, and anything else you can think of. Anything more detailed than that, and I might be able to find a place for them in the story. Example:
John Blorbo - 5'4", shoulder-length blonde hair, walks with a limp, graduated top of his class, loves classical music, is deathly afraid of doors.
That's very helpful! It lets me slot Mr. Blorbo into any number of roles, and then tweak various details to fit the situation. Maybe he's listening to Shostakovich while betting on horse races, or he's humming Mozart while operating a forklift.
If, however, you say that John Blorbo can only ever be a veterinarian, chances are he won't appear in the story. I already have an outline for the Book, and I don't have enough wiggle room to add a side plot where Evelyn finds an injured bear cub and has to rush it to a local animal hospital.
If you want to specify a time period for John Blorbo, however, that's something you're welcome to do. The story is split between two sections - 1938 and 2000. Someone who builds websites probably won't appear in 1938, while a WWI vet who's immensely proud of his brand-new Model T probably won't appear in 2000.
Keep in mind that these characters might appear as antagonists. If you picture John Blorbo as a sweet, outstanding citizen, it might be awkward when he appears as a mafia enforcer.
