I have four important announcements to say, regarding my NSFW content, FANBOX, and updates of the comms for this year.

This is gonna get long, so be prepared:

The first one: I'm retiring from doing NSFW content

Some things have happened last month that has just discouraged me to keep on with this content, which include a big leak on my FANBOX content, as well as personal discomfort.

Regarding the personal reason, I've always been more leaning towards the fetish itself, rather than its sexual implications, so I'm not really a fan of NSFW as a consumer, and seeing my performance while making it, I see I'm not as connected with the artwork as my regular content and even other comms.

The other reason: the content got leaked.

I know that, to some extent, everything on the internet is public, and a paywall is not the greatest protection against it, but it’s still frustrating that a fanbox supporter just decides to join just to get every exclusive artwork they can get, unjoin the fanbox, and publish those drawings wherever they want, and it just feels horrible to know that those drawings are now part of the public eye of the internet and I can do nothing to take them down.

So, yeah, what comes next is the total refusal of any NSFW requests, as well as I’m going to be way more strict with the SFW content I accept. Mainly in terms of certain poses, regarding minor characters, and showing/implying sexual-related acts.

Second announcement: because of this leak, I’m reworking my FANBOX distribution of content.

So, due to the leak, I’m now sharing the content for the two highest tiers on my Discord server. This might not stop any future leaks, but at least I can have more control over the people who can leak my content, and spot and sanction them in case they do.

And third announcement: A schedule of the next commission seasons, their respective dynamics, and an approximation of how much the prices might increase.

I want to talk especially about the third issue, as I predict my prices might get up either to $4, $6, or $8 USD more for each pack. Meaning that the fullbody pack can increase in a range from $57 to $61 USD by the end of the year.

This has to do with two reasons: the fact my currency is getting abnormally stronger over the dollar (which means, I get less money from the conversion from dollar to my currency) and because of my overall improvement as an artist.

The second reason is the less important for this discussion, as I'm applying this increase for certain extras, such as backgrounds, poses, etc, and the increases are only applied like 2 times a year, so not too big of an issue there.

The currency issue is way greater, though. The way things are now makes me get less out of my work than last year, even when my prices were lower last year.

To put you in context: a commission that was worth $100 USD last year now is worth around $85 USD now, also taking into account the newest currency conversion Paypal fees.

This hurts my economy a lot, as even if my currency has augmented its value on the market, prices on my country keep increasing, so there’s barely a difference on the money I need for a living, and since this second job takes a lot of my time, I need it to be worth it.

I personally don’t want to keep increasing prices at this pace, as I know the higher they get the harder it becomes to afford to my regular consumers, that’s why I’m going to have more irregular commission season openings, this way I can pinpoint the moment when the dollar is on the rise and open the comms in that date. It will be unpredictable, but that way I believe I can keep my prices like they are now and only have one more price change over the year.

(Of course, I still can’t avoid my payment to get cut off even more in the future, but I can only hope it’s not that big of a deal)

On a better note, I also want to announce the next commission season (the one for September) will be special, as I’m doing a Stonetember: a season with special discounts for stone statues (just like I did with frozen girls on December and carbonite in May).

This comm season will most likely take place bewteen September 10th and September 18th, there will be 5 express slots the comm season opening day, 2 slow comm slots for after the opening day, and the discount will be of 10%. So, stay aware of my posts those days.
