How do you feel about parasocial relationships? Are they healthy? Do you have any? Have they caused trouble for you? 

Hi again Cercy. I’m so sorry! For some reason, I did not answer this question in the Q&A. I believe that parasocial relationships can be healthy if there are boundaries in place. The admirer should respect the boundaries of whom they admire, and they should maintain some level of emotional distance to avoid becoming attached or obsessed. Additionally, parasocial relationships should not impede on one’s ability to form two-sided relationships. 

When I was younger, I was in a parasocial relationship with the fictional character Natsu from Fairy Tail. Same with L from Death Note. Does this count? These relationships never caused trouble for me. It was all fun, games, and fangirling.

I’ve never had a parasocial relationship with a real person. Sure, I’ve had celebrity crushes, but I’ve never felt connected to a celebrity on a deeper level.
