Happy February! I'm feeling romantic this month. Perhaps it's because one of my favorite holidays is in February, Valentines Day. My boyfriend and I recently began watching From Scratch on Netflix, and while I usually don't like romances, I have really been enjoying the show so far. The writers portray romance so well. I find myself falling for the love interest. But then again, I fall for every love interest. 

My boyfriend is studying abroad in France until May, so we have to celebrate Valentines Day online. We'll order a nice meal, watch something romantic together (likely From Scratch), and play some video games. This will not be our first V-Day apart; we've got plenty under our belt because we began as a long-distance couple. We know how to party over the internet.

Speaking of long-distance couples, guess what inspired this audio? This audio is largely based on my personal experience. I've been in two romantic relationships in my life: my first and current. I met both of my boyfriends through the same video game. Most of this audio is a true story; however, I never hesitated to commit to a long-distance relationship. It never scared me. Perhaps it's because I felt more comfortable being vulnerable online. I struggled with social anxiety as a teen, and dating online came easier.

This audio is so personal that I almost didn't want to share it! I hope you enjoy.

P.S. This Valentines Day, I plan to cultivate romance in all aspects of my day, not just the few hours that I spend with my boyfriend. I plan to do some baking with my mom and spend some time pampering myself and having tea and desserts.
