It's not the first time Marin's been on guard while dad has his way with a pretty girl! Hopefully Riktor's putting in the work to seem convincing enough to the rest of the camp, who can surely hear what he's up to.
This scene is a time transition, indicating a couple hours have passed. The following evening with the rest of the hunters follows directly after this one, and not the next day as some had wondered. The current arc includes a night that narrows down to her and 3 hunters. then returns to the Red Mark camp the next morning for Leika and Chim'ka's scene.
