They didn't write Shane off due to any other roles. They wrote him off because at this point they were still following the Graphic Novel storyline. And that whole scene was direct from the books. Shane had to die in order for the story to actually progress! Glad you caught the birth of the Ricktatorship

It brings me back to how I felt watching it through the first time and because I have seen it, I’ve found that I watch and there is this mix of I know what’s gonna happen so I know what the right choices are but I’m getting that perspective of a first time watching through so my brain is confused how to feel.😂😂😂😂
