I voted early in NJ and can’t tell you how much I needed this podcast. I’m sure we all represent a variety of political viewpoints but this convo was a great way to engage in the election without tuning into the cable news horse race. Thanks, Burnie and Ashley, for all you do!

I remember Jack Patillo being very upset that the halo two servers didn’t shut down immediately when the countdown clock hit zero. They talked about it on the drunk tank.

Some advice I could give to help break up the two party system. Vote in every election every time you get a ballot. In the ballot, that’s not your vote for the presidential candidate, you would be better off voting for a third-party. If enough people did that it would force Republicans and Democrats to take the third-party priorities seriously. Or if enough people voted third-party, they’d have a true shot at winning the presidency. Obviously in the final election where you cast a vote for president a third-party vote with very small margins like 10% is a vote for the candidate you do not like. Any other election I try to support any third-party or non-established candidate. Just my two cents.

My professor for public speaking made a good point. Even if you don’t like either candidate, don’t think of it as supporting the one you vote for, think of it as taking away support from the one you dislike more

I appreciate your political discussion today. It’s hard to walk the line of not alienating a good chunk of your fan base and sometimes I think you cross that line ever so slightly but today I don’t think you did at all You have fans from all over. Best of luck to all those voting today and to the country overall
