From what I understand, cranberries grow in the bogs so the flooding would happen naturally and that's just how they grow and now modern farming does it on purpose. As for the spiders, they are also a good thing because they keep other pests off the cranberries. Unfortunately they like to climb to high ground, which when there's flooding, is the people waiting in the water.

2024-11-27 21:06:10 +0000 UTCI encourage you to give Bluesky some more attention. It has captured old twitter vibes imo. It is changing pretty rapidly with its growth. It's far different than it was even a year ago when I joined. It requires you interacting with it to tune the content you see. There are lots of specific user created feeds and you can make your own. I think "What's hot classic" serves up an interesting variety.
