The preferred format is still OneDrive because Sway does not accept colors and styling - colors and styling which are quite important for Casual Heroing. In a few months, I shall have a private website with a lot of custom CSS at my disposal. Before then, you do you. So, I'd recommend getting the Word app and downloading the .docx file for the best reading experience possible. But if you want to binge recklessly with zero effort, Sway is your best option. The links die on the 2nd of the month after the subscription. They get updated as soon as Patreon billing cycle is complete.
