How does this Patreon work? + FAQ
Added 2023-01-10 14:00:43 +0000 UTCYou might be asking this because you don't see any older posts in my timeline, and the reason why is pretty straightforward: I upload my chapters to a third-party website that I founded with a partner to make it easier to read multiple chapters in a row, keep track of which chapters you have read through an Index (especially useful if you subscribe and unsubscribe routinely), and making it harder for pirates. And it all still goes through Patreon. So, you don't have to change anything. You subscribe here and read there.
You can already read the free chapters by simply logging in through your patreon account and, for example, checking out the first chapter here before you become a Patron of mine.
Why do you delete chapters posts on Patreon?
I'm trying to use Patreon to keep track of my announcements and I'll start keeping a history of those on another third-party service/archive that I'll link here. I want things clean for my readers.
What if the app goes down?
We have conducted extensive testing and I'm just opening it now to another writer as we slowly expand the n of users on the author side. So far, the only problems that had been there were solved by logging-off and logging-in again.
