Let's talk about sex
Added 2021-01-24 06:56:55 +0000 UTCThere are enough Patrons here to make the first poll. :) At this stage, you already know more or less the whole main cast (well, Dorothy only if you chose to text her at the beginning of chapter 3 and you called her in chapter 4). Let's talk about the potential of sexual encounters.
Generally, I write The Parity this way that is possible to not have sex at all and play most paths. Personally, I don't like games where authors try to force me to get as much sex as possible or, even if not, there is no much to do otherwise. Not every 18-year-old girl is sexually active, and the way that Paul/Pauline is constructed as a character fits it. But as The Parity is a story about changes and self-discovery, there would be plenty of occasions to have sex with many characters.
Olivier - some of you could be already tired of him for the first chapters, but his presence was necessary. Generally, as the only character in Rosset's who really cares for Pauline, the way you treat him will make the whole story darker or lighter. Olivier as most victims of the Parity in school gets used to his transformation very quickly and he will encourage Pauline to accept her changes. He's not a real type of steady boyfriend, so you rather will end as fuck buddies.
Martha - as the person ultimately responsible for your transformation, she made you basically her dream girl. If you already spend some time with her you already noticed she has a soft spot for Pauline, and even gave you some chance to remain attracted to girls. The sexual path could be played in two ways - you could be a submissive lover of a powerful witch she is or a challenging rival.
Justin - Justin is the chance for Pauline to have a steady, romantic relationship. His path follows most "best friend to boyfriend" tropes from TG literature. His path might be looking naive now, but there will be some darker moments and obstacles to challenge.
Caroline/Carl - Caroline/Carl is on her/his way to change back and achieve the powers of the divers. If she/he success, Pauline will be in serious danger. There will be room for corrupting tropes there, however, I can't say yet how far I will go.
Dorothy - when you finally meet her, she won't be an obvious sexual partner for Pauline. She is on her way to recovery, and as she is lesbian (or bi, at least), she could be very thankful if Pauline helps her.
David - as a powerful diver, David likes the transformed girls. He likes their simplified image of women and awareness of what the man needs. If Pauline joins the games in the poker room, he'll gladly guide her in many ways.
Robert - his role as a potential sexual partner is quite limited now and it probably remains that way until the finale.
As I said several times before, The Parity is planned for 20 chapters (+4 chapters of endings). It means that I have plenty of space to shuffle the elements of the plot. So if you tell me about your tastes/expectations, there is a chance I can highlight them for you. :)
So...which character would you like to see often as a sexual partner of Pauline?
