Peek at chapter 8
Added 2021-04-08 17:39:06 +0000 UTCI've planned chapter 8. Unfortunately, Twine can no longer hold the weight of The Parity. In Chapter 7 it slowed terribly, now it's nearly impossible to continue the writing. It's said that Twine slows down around 80k words, so I think I'm lucky that it endured so long (or I have a good computer, but I don't have :P ). So I need to re-organize everything in Tweego. I've spent today some time on it. I've figured it out, but it will be a little harder for me to code, as so many variables depending on the previous choices...
Well, but we have chapter 8 ahead. It will be a chapter full of lore about the Parity. We finally focus again on the antagonists - Caroline and Robert. If you don't follow Olivier's path until the climax in chapter 6, you'll meet Bimbo-Pauline again in more - as I suppose - menacing form. And those of you that keep asking about Robert's path should be satisfied after this chapter. :)
I still hope that I'll release chapter 8 around the 22nd of April, but a day or a two of delay is a constant danger.
The good or the bad news is that probably the game will be longer than 20 chapters+endings, as I slowly realize how much content I haven't introduced yet. :v
