Another question about the second game
Added 2021-04-09 06:28:24 +0000 UTCTwo months ago I asked you about my idea for the second day. And however more than a half of you voted that the idea wasn't bad, my goal is to find something that most of you would want to play. ;) So I thought a little about the concept.
So, I named the second concept "The Seventh Daughter" and the title is based on the belief in Slavic folklore (it's possible that not only there) that the seventh daughter must be a witch. The hero(ine) has 6 older sisters and one older brother. He became a girl as a part of the pact with a devil (the king of the crossroads), who is also his Godfather, as his father saved the demon's life when his wife was expecting a child. The man who dared to risk his soul to change him is his former friend and rival.
"The Seventh Daughter" would take place in a fantasy setting that would be heavily inspired by Celtic, Slavic, and Medieval Christian folklore. The hero(ine) could join the sabbath and discover the new powers, (s)he and his/her friends would face the Faerie magic and witch hunters, and even struggle with some kind of Vikings that would invade the realm. As "The Parity" is my play with Lovecraftian and King's horror, "The Seventh Daughter" would be a tribute to dark fairy tales of Neil Gaiman and Tim Burton (in his better times). And of course, as the members of the main casts would be teenagers/young adults, there will be a lot of space for the growing relationships.
So, what do you think? Of course, I don't think I would start writing this game soon, but maybe I would show you some draft even this year.
