Things in motion

So, we start the discussion about the lore and further plot. As I mentioned before, I already know that the game will be longer than 20 chapters. I don't know yet if 22 or 24 chapters will be enough. Still, my plans are to finish the game (with most or all endings) in December 2022. 

The end of chapter 9 introduces the last big path in the game - the dead. They will be important in some paths. Let's say that the departed friends of Pauline's father have their own opinion about giving Olivier the guitar, and Pauline will have a chance to talk with Justin's father. If you are interested in the horror content of the game, make sure that you joined the history project.

There's also an additional player in the game of the Parity - Dorothy has her expectations about Pauline and Justin. I'm happy that I finally could introduce her as an important part of the main cast. I personally like "the revenge of the ex-girlfriend" trope, and, just Martha is the variation about the witch in TF stories, I try to fill the trope with the complex character. Maybe some of you already make Dorothy think better about Pauline. 

In the several next chapters, there will be some action in all paths, but I'd like to know in which parts you're interested the most.

Olivier's band - Olivier will finally try to follow his dreams. If Pauline's father gave him Victor's guitar, he'd be more determined to do it. He also meets a girl, who could be a rival of Pauline, but she could be also her first female friend who doesn't know about her past. As I said before, there is also a potential for a horror story. As this girl is an immigrant (nothing exotic for Poland, she's Ukrainian) there will be some "ethnographic" content.

Caroline tries to change back - and she has the chance to do that, but if she fails, there will be some bimbo content, because David will be strongly against it and his wrath will be powerful. If Carl will be a boy again, there will be a path for him and Pauline, generally following the trope about falling for a bad boy.

Serious relationship with Martha -  you could persuade Martha to give the chance to be her girlfriend, and it will have of course many consequences for the plot. It's hard to be reelected if you have a lesbian daughter. It could also complicate being a diver if you chose that way.

The investigation - regardless if Pauline wants to help Caroline, or she wants to change back or she wants to be a diver, she could investigate the Parity. There will be some more Lovecraftian content in there. 

Not so saint Justin - Justin's mother died, and it will turn out that he wasn't as honest as he appeared to be. And there's Claudia, a girl with a very simple philosophy: "If you can't be mine, I'll destroy you". And it looks like Justin trusted her too much. 

After those a few chapters (I planned to close it in chapter 11, but probably it would be 12 or 13) we'll have holidays, and there will be some content we will discuss in the next polls. :) I'd love to know what you think about the further plot and how you plan to play those paths.
