Devil In The Waters, Book 5, Chapter 12 (complete)

The address was near Yonge and Lawrence, a fifteen minute drive south from the office. Traffic was heavy and she waited almost two minutes to make the turn across Yonge to get on the side street and find the concrete sign with the thin and serif-less font reading: 1700 The Winchester. A short drive through a manicured green space brought her to the parking lot of The Winchester, a sleek black steel and concrete apartment building.

Devlin’d called her an hour and a half ago for a meeting saying he needed her expertise, wanted her at his side for a negotiation, and to meet him at this address. Wasn’t even supposed to be in Toronto today, and yet here he was playing games. And now given that the Winchester was an apartment building, her imagination began to work down the path of Devlin’s dark proclivities. That this wasn’t a meeting at all, that he’d borrowed a friend’s apartment to encourage from her a lunchtime tryst. Could picture some hotshot like Devlin living here, some UCC prick Devlin met at U of T, Devlin saying he needed to bang this lawyer he hired and, since you’re in the Bahamas, what say you, old friend, give us your pad, and maybe the keys to your Fifty Shades room . . . or maybe this was a legit meeting. You never knew with Devlin. One minute all business, the next some incredible ruse meant to get you to suck his cock on your knees. Problem was, her stomach wasn’t exactly tightening with dread. It was exciting not knowing. It was exciting to get the call, hear his voice, play along, say you’d meet him at apartment 2101, 1700 Winchester, 1:15 P.M. Let’s see what happens . . .

As she guided the Leaf into a visitor’s spot she weighed the odds. A tryst was a pretty good bet. No guidance from Devlin when he called, no suggestion of what to brush up on, or telling her to pull some company or some character’s file. No past data to worry about. So maybe it was someone new. If it was business, perhaps it was a new customer seeking help they were already familiar with. Most likely, though, it was a tryst.

And since that was most likely she’d removed her panties in the bathroom at work. Pretty terrible thing for a married woman to do, but this was the way it was. It certainly looked like she was going to bend to Devlin’s weight, and engage in a few-times-weekly hookup behind Josh’s back. And do it on the cushion of some weird rationale that Josh knew how hot it was—so much so it made her husband hard as a rock to even fantasize about it. If she was wrong, and this wasn’t a tryst, she’d now have to engage in a business meeting with no panties, and it provoked another terrible realization: this wasn’t the first time she’d done legitimate work with sex heavy on her mind and not wearing any panties. Coming into this employment opportunity she’d been armed with morals and virtue and yet somehow Devlin’d allowed her to cloak herself in righteousness and still spread his filth in front of her, a middle ground where she played in his dirt patch and still wear her vestments. An erotic rapprochement. A (place of ) where she indulged the enormous sexual capabilities of her rich and handsome and powerful boss; where Devlin was satisfied getting his big dick wet inside her; and where she’d also kidded herself into thinking her own husband would somehow appreciate his wife spreading her legs for a man as well-hung and obviously gorgeous despite being the asshole who bullied him in high school.

The lobby of the Winchester was what she would expect, complete with black lacquer, austere cement faces, stainless steel accents, and polished mahogany furniture. The concierge was a bright-smiling African in uniform who met her with enormous pleasantries—maybe coming on to her. Which was exciting to consider. When she’d worked in immigration, all the clientele was too scared to consider her attractiveness, or too powerless to act on it. Plus, back then she’d never worn makeup, dressed professionally but mostly in earth tones. Things had changed, that was for sure. But it wasn’t just in the style of dress. That was a reflection of the change inside her. Gone were the days of monumental paperwork, bureaucratic nonsense . . . No, that wasn’t true. Her new job was also about bureaucracy. Only, for some reason now it seemed streamlined, coming at it from a whole different angle. She knew what it was: Profit. That was the different angle. And when you came at the same old problems from this new direction everything sure did look different. And people looked at her differently, too. Just like Ella who’d administered her IV in the Royal York the day before yesterday. It was respect. Admiration, maybe—admiration mixed with a few drops of mystique. Not knowing what she did for a living, but knowing it was beyond them given her wardrobe and (she like to think) the steely look in her eye.

“One-fifteen appointment with Devlin Stone. 2101,” she told the concierge.

“Okay, okay,” he said humming, checking his LCD screen. “Devlin Stone,” he said, “there you are, 21st floor and then you turn left. It’s the apartment at the very end of the hall, Mrs. Chang.”

She thanked him, the good-looking young guy keeping his smile the whole time, maybe even checking her out as she walked from the concrete bunker of a desk to the three black lacquer and stainless elevator banks. She pressed the up-arrow, never looking back. It was a quick and silent ride to the 21st floor, and turning left she saw a woman headed her way, eyes down, fingers dancing on her phone. As they came nearer, the woman’s expression changed, going from iPhone concentration to immediate good humor, tucking the phone in a skirt pocket. She wore a black jacket and skirt, a white dress shirt, and carried a black briefcase. She approached to greet, holding out her hand. She said, “You must be Devlin’s lawyer.”

“I am,” she said shaking hands.

She said, “Very good to meet you, I’m Betsy Shapiro.” Nowa business card was passed, and she took it with both hands to read: Betsy Shapiro, broker.

Betsy said, “Mr. Stone’s in the apartment. I have a few phone calls to make, you can tell Mr. Stone to take his time.”

She told Betsy she would, gave a curt nod and a restrained smile. Tucked Betsy’s business card into her jacket pocket and watched the woman at the elevator banks, pressing the button and snagging the same cab she’d rode up in before it had descended.

A broker. So, not the tryst she’d thought. Business. But what kind of business?

She adjusted her suit jacket as she resumed her path to the apartment at the end of the hall, headed for 2101. The black door was ajar, and she entered.

No surprises, much like the lobby, the decor of the apartment was what she would have presumed. Gallery-like, also austere; big, bold and graphic paintings, similar patterns on the bright cushions that padded the ivory couches; ebony furniture; a glimpse in the kitchen showed her all stainless top-of-the-line appliances. The view was southward toward the city, sunny out there today, a spacious blue sky, a sliver of the CN Tower piercing into the horizon. She adjusted her jacket, put hands in the pockets of her skirt, let her heels click around on the floor. Devlin would call her, she wouldn’t call him.

Then Devlin’s voice at last, coming from down the hall: “In here.”

She found him in the apartment’s bedroom, standing in that masculine and familiar Devlin pose. In a steely suit, shirt in pale blue, royal blue tie and matching braces; fisted hands placed on hips, suit jacket open. He stood by the bedroom’s huge window wall, admiring the view of the city.

She asked, “What, pray tell, kind of meeting is this one today?” She leaned casually on the doorframe.

Devlin turned, amused, eyes bright and happy—unmistakably pleased to see her here. How times had changed. When she thought of Devlin, she thought of him as menacing. But here he was today, calm, confident, and capable, but no menace. It was a subtle shift, and an exciting one. He said, “What do you think?”

“About Betsy, or about this apartment?”

“Think she’s pretty?”

She chuckled. “You probably do.”

Hands off hips, he crossed his arms now and studied her. “Is that jealousy?”

“What do I have to be jealous of?—I’m married.”

He nodded, said, “I’m asking what you think of the apartment.”

She sighed, said, “I appreciate the gesture, but I already have a place to live.”

He smiled, enjoying her banter, uncrossing his arms and putting hands in his pants pockets, slowly strolling across the hardwood floor toward her. She raised her chin.

She said, “It’s not for me, is it?”

“It’s not.”

“Why do you need an apartment?”

“You tell me,” he said.

Here was what was obvious: you called me here, so I’d guess you want an apartment for a fuck pad. She said, “I would say you’re tired of driving back and forth from Kingston to Toronto.”

“I told you I was.”

“So now you want a place to crash here. Tired of Toronto hotels?”

“I’m tired of Toronto hotels,” he said. “I’d like something a little more permanent.”

“Abandoning old Kingston, our home of origin?”

“It’s about time I joined the rest of you.”

“Josh and I? We only made it as far as Ajax.”

“For now,” he said, closing the distance further, practically joining her in the space of the open doorway.

She said, “I’m afraid to say what I think this apartment really means.”

“You’re that insightful—you know why?”

“I think so.”

“I think the future is in Toronto,” he said, pushing away from the doorframe now, heading toward the view at the window again. She watched the breadth of his shoulders in his suit jacket, the way he moved gracefully even with his arms crossed. She followed, coming to stand behind him at the foot of the bed. It was low, modern in a Japanese way, no headboard, it looked like a black lacquered ebony platter with a pure white mattress, white duvet flat on top with a wiggling black line as if paint’d been dripped high from above. The painting that hung above the bed was simple and geometric, black and white with spots of red.

She said, “You want to expand the Toronto office.”

“Why wouldn’t I?”

“The shipping’s been changing, I’m not arguing with you. And I only see it diminishing further.”

“I’d be crazy not to be here. There’s more than shipping, anyway.”

“So Stone would change its head office?”

“Stone?” he said, “Stone Brokerage?”

She frowned—Devlin being coy for some reason. “Right,” she said, “the company I work for.”

“Oh,” he said, “maybe. Maybe the company you work for.”

Her frown deepened. She asked him what he meant.

“I’m moving to Toronto. I’m moving for brokerage . . . and that’s all I’m ready to say right now.”

She studied his face, registered the confidence but looked deeper to find meaning and resolve. From his insinuation, she saw bigger and bolder moves than she’d ever even expected from him. A coldness throbbed at her core at the implication, but a light amusement still flickered at the forefront of her thoughts.

“That’s very bold,” she said.

He said nothing in return, only held her gaze, smiling, sucking on his lower lip a moment than letting it go. His smile deepened on one side, and his eyes narrowed. There was that menace again, and she liked to see it return.

She said, “I didn’t know what to expect when you called me here.”

“I’m glad you came.” Then: “Because I do want you at my side . . .” A simple statement, but in conjunction with the possible independence he was insinuating they held more weight. She nodded, unable to hide the wow from her eyes, thinking how huge this might be if he were serious. But also registering the disappointment that this wasn’t as simple a meeting as she’d bet on. Things had been much easier when she thought he’d borrowed a buddy’s apartment so they could have sex. She palmed her forehead a second, smoothed her hair, fingertips exploring the shape of her tight bun. Maybe it was all too much. No wonder he’d offered her the job. Was he looking for an ally all along? Why hadn’t he been more honest from the beginning? . . .

Now he changed the subject, saying: “Back to my first question: what do you think of the apartment?”

She asked how much it was and he told her four-K a month.

She said, “Do you have terms a term sheet, or something for me to look over?”

“I can get you whatever you want.”

“Okay,” she said, “email it to me. I’ll let you know.”

“But what do you think of the apartment?”

“It comes furnished?”

“As is.”

“It looks like Ivan Boesky’s mistress’s apartment,” she said of the eighties design.

Devlin’s smile spread even wider. “Should I change the artwork?”

“No,” she said, “somehow it’s all very fitting.” She crossed her own arms now, inhibited, looking around and taking it all in.

“I need you to like it,” he said in a low voice.

And there was the truth she’d suspected all along, Devlin’s coyness hiding it from her, his method of dominance. He didn’t care about terms sheets, or her educated opinion on the paperwork. He wanted her to know what she thought of the place where she would cheat on her husband a few times a week . . .

“I like it,” she said.

He nodded. “I’m going to take it.”

She allowed him a moment of command, but then took some control of her own. “I don’t want you to come to Cayman.”

He nodded again, not looking her way, eyes out the window taking in the stellar view.

When she’d taken the job, in her heart it was to make money. Maybe way in the trunk of her mind there was the knowledge she would submit to his sexual advances. One time. Now it was obvious it wouldn’t be only one time. A desire had built. One she hadn’t anticipated. If she didn’t make the effort to create new barriers, new rules, ones she could adhere to for once, where would it lead her? What would it do to her and Josh. And what about poor Josh? What about his heart? God, his sanity?

Still not looking her way, Devlin said now: “No?”

“I’m going with Josh. It’s my time with him.”

“Your call.”

She unbuttoned the collar of her shirt, hands moving to the next one down. The sound drew Devlin’s attention and he turned to face her.

She looked at him, said, “But I need you to fuck me now.”

His expression went steely, his eyes warming with sudden lust. She was giving him what he wanted, but she was getting what she wanted too, doing it on her own terms. If she let Devlin dominate her it would end her way of life, she knew it in her heart. He would sever her relationship with Josh—he would crush Josh. If she fucked around with Devlin she would have to own it, do it on her own terms.

Devlin chuckled. “Here?”

She said, “On your new bed.”

He chuckled, looking her up and down. “Going to be a long weekend without a real cock.”

“I’ll make do.”

“Josh does other things for you.”

“He does indeed.”

“Did he fuck you last night? Was he eager to show you how much he appreciated the party you threw to hide your guilt?”

She shook her head, admonished him with her gaze, still unbuttoning. “We had great sex last night.”

“Did you come on his cock?”

“I did.” Her shirt was unbuttoned, the strap of her black bra drawing Devlin’s eyes. “Does it surprise you?”

She could see his devious mind at work behind his black eyes, looking for a way to get the upper hand, looking to spark her lust and to diminish Josh all at once. He found it, and it was the truth. “Josh asked about my bulge again.”

“Maybe,” she said, untucking her shirt, letting the tails hang over her skirt. Her eyes were drawn to the movement of his hand, watching it go between his legs and heft the large shape of his genitals. It was clear he wore no underwear, clear the unbuttoning of her shirt and her request to be fucked had begun to arouse him. He smoothed the fabric underneath the bulk of his cock and balls, made a hammock for his manhood, showing off the size to her. The sight thrilled her, gave her a tight string of anticipation between her legs and a tingling in her fingertips and stomach.

He said, “What did you tell him?”

“How big it was,” she said, her voice softer than she anticipated. Devlin liked hearing her say it. Liked to know she would tell Josh that. Devlin loving his own cock, his lawyer loving it, even his lawyer’s husband loving it. There was his power; that was how he got off. His own natural entitlement, his endowment by birth. A thing so powerful other men’s wives turned their backs on their spouses to interact with it. And seeing it his way, seeing how Devlin saw it suddenly aroused her too. Like a license. A pass. Devlin’s undeniable masculine appeal so apparent that even a cuckolded husband would accept the truth and kneel before his dominance.

Now she straightened her spine, shook her head to disengage the awful tractor beam of that lustful thought, reminding herself not to submit to him.

Devlin closed the space between them, her eyes lowered to watch the shifting movement of his cock behind the cradle of fabric. Face to face now, he guided her hand to caress the bulge, holding her wrist while she palmed the weight of his cock.

He said, “You’d rather go to Cayman with Josh? You’re sure?”

She fingered the girth of his hardening cock, fingertips tracing the flared shape of his bulging cock head. “That’s why I need you to fuck me now.”

“Fuck, Kimmy,” he groaned, “yes, that’s hot.”

Fingers still appreciating his cock under the fabric, she said, “I want to go with Josh because I like spending time with him. I want to hang out with my husband, I want to do couples things . . .”

“Yeah,” he asked, liking her words, betraying to her the source of his arousal, his own kink becoming apparent. He unzipped, tugged out his cock and put it in her grip. It was huge, hot and gummy, and not even hard yet. “Your pussy ready for me again?”

She stroked, hefted, teased his cock. “I need it. I need your big cock before I go away with my husband.” Her eyes moved from the wicked sight of his monstrous penis in her hand up to his ravenous eyes. “I need you to fuck me with your huge cock.”

The words’ effect on him was obvious in his eyes. And his cock surged hard in her grip, his rate of arousal increasing with her dirty talk.

“You didn’t get what you wanted last night?”

“From Josh?” She shook her head no.

“You need a real cock.”

“I need a big cock. Not his little dick . . .”

Devlin closed his eyes and his cock went to wood in her grip. She whispered, “I’m not wearing panties . . .”

"One of the Gang" just started it! Good so far.

RCH

LOL, back down again, ha ha

KT Morrison

Thank you, RCH!

KT Morrison

Only KT knows what Josh is doing! Is he sitting at home looking at Kimmy's dirty underwear or off to work as usual. Even if Josh finds the soiled underwear Kimmy will counter that she did it on purpose to mess with him and his fetish. Why else would I make it so obvious Josh I wanted to tease you more. It's your load you dummy I smeared it there after we finished making love last night! Is Josh going to get the Friday off? That depends on how many plot complications occur before Friday. It's the same category of question as to whether Devlin shows up in the Caymans. It's Wednesday afternoon Kimmy is getting ready spend another wild romp with Devlin. Kimmy may not want Devlin with her and Josh in the Caymans. Despite her request her actions will insure there are plenty of little Devlins on the trip. And there is still Thursday too the cork is out of the bottle and there is going to be little reason for Kimmy to deny her pleasure.

RCH

So is Josh at work not asking for Friday off, or still at home contemplating Kimmy’s dirty undies?

CSH

Earlier I was wondering if the apartment came with maid service? Now I'm concerned about the carpet! Between Devlin's dripping manhood and Kimmy's panty-less state of arousal standing by the bed for the last few days the carpet has to be getting stained with bodily fluids! Devlin new venture needs to be a success to keep up the cleaning bills.

RCH

Chinookfan72 Josh's parents had to know something because the talked to the older Stone about it and were rebuffed. Josh was beaten bloody and robbed by Devlin's henchman. Was Johnny his name? I'm starting to feel like HAL 9000 in "2001 a Space Odyssey" as astronaut Dave Bowman starts pulling memory from HAL. If I start singing Daisy you'll understand what is happening to me. Daisy, Daisy Give me your answer do! I'm half crazy. All for the love of you...

RCH

Your point about Kimmy becoming a partner with Devlin (and thus the potential for more power, money and prestige) is definitely one I agree with. Although I think the Big Cock goes with the Big Bucks as well so it would be a package deal. As for the dream, I hope not. We already have one night in this story that could be a dream or not, do we need a second?

Chinookfan72

It could just be that Josh’s parent’s didn’t know. Josh hasn’t been comfortable talking about it with his wife so it wouldn’t be surprising if he didn’t talk to anyone about it.

Chinookfan72

I would say nuclear as in power plant lots of high yield power with a high danger potential if careless. Question will someone be careless and cause a meltdown?

RCH

I got this though while driving home. Tim research Devlin's dads reaction to Josh's parents complaint, He laugh at it. Okay that is not so surprising he's a douche bag. What my revelation is what kinda home Josh grew up in? Seems very passive of his parents. Why if his abuse at the hand of Devlin and his cronies was so bad why was the matter dropped? Did Mr. Stone have something to hold over Josh's family? Where are Josh's parents? We haven't heard to much of them. Are they alive did I miss something(most likely I forgot)?

RCH

CSH, I think if we see some break from Stone Brokerage we'll see some reaction from daddy. How daddy reacts will give us a feel for his personality. This is likely going to be a explosive event! You could take the erotica out of this story and it would still have enough happening to make it interesting. Tim thanks for the research on Mr. Stone reaction to Josh's parents complaint.

RCH

I think you are right about this. She thinks she’s in control of Devlin but it’s an illusion. If he shows in the Caymans she’ll give in immediately. If his presence is open, she’ll use it to tease Josh unmercifully.

CSH

Another fun fact would be Devlin Dad laughing at Josh and his parents when complaining about Devlins bullying!

Tim ziegler

Given we know next to nothing about Devlin, I wouldn’t bet on finding out a lot about his dad. For our purposes a move out on his own could really offer financial incentives to Kimmy and Josh to stick with Devlin for a while. Might mean Kimmy has to travel a lot with him internationally, too.

CSH

That would be a surprise plot twist. With the reaction of Devlin when his father was mentioned it leads me to believe Papa Stone is a bigger shit heal than Devlin. What kinda parent raises a kid like Devlin and then doesn't rein him in when is picking on a weaker kid? My dad had an older, bigger kid try to bully him when he was 11-12 he fought back and sent the kid home blood. The father showed up with his kid to complain to my dads mom. When my Grandma called my dad to the door, the father saw the size of kid he was picking on he apologized, whacked his kid upside the head and shamed him for his actions. That is what Mr Stone should have done to Devlin and he would have been a better citizen. I have a feeling we'll get more insight into Mr Stone later. I wonder about Mrs. Stone? Some how I don't see her as a positive factor either. She is either a self absorbed society woman or possibly a weak and kowtowed wife. Is she even in the picture divorced or dead? Devlin show signs of not having a mother to give him a good reference for male/female relationships.

RCH

Yeah, she thinks she going to be in control but there are too many moving parts. A lot of the contempt she expresses to Josh will be the honest truth, even if she tries to pretend it’s just said for excitement. The shift in power will have real emotional consequences. It’ll be really hot reading though.....

CSH

Even if Kimmy is working on Josh to condition him to accept and sexually respond to her sex with Devlin, there will still be cheating. I do not think it is possible for a woman with any agency to carry on one or more sexual affairs without (i) some emotional involvement with the bull; (ii) a real (as opposed to simulated) disdain for the hubby; (iii) a need to keep some aspects of the affair(s) private from hubby; and a need for some emotional distance from hubby. DND gave us a good view of this with the Gema tales. And almost all of KT's stories involve some elements of the list above. The combinations of these factors are what add the tension, anticipation, and risk to the mixture, sometimes spitting out hurt and breakage along with the thrills.

Donkatsu

What if Dear ole Daddy finds about the move and Kimmy’s involvement in the business and affair, tellsJosh and recruits him to break it up. As a Josh fan to me that’s pretty good revenge

Tim ziegler

I’m probably unique in preferring we don’t find out Devlin’s motivations, at least not yet. The mystery surrounding Devlin’s full motives keeps us guessing as to what he’ll do next. We don’t even know whether his motivations are a singular unchanging “plan of attack” or if they are evolving and changing over time. DnD, I think you’re right about consent and power exchange. I agree it’s the lying not the cheating that is the long term threat but if Kimmy draws Josh far enough in before he learns the truth then it may not matter. You’re right, she’s conditioning him or dare we say it training him. At a certain point, if she has gotten him to accept her openly having Devlin as a lover, maybe even watching it happen, what difference will it really make to his self respect if he discovers she lied about how they got there? I mean that would be full control wouldn’t it? I lied to you to get you to like this but you won’t stop because now you’re addicted to it. That kind of just happened to Kimmy didn’t it?

CSH

The apartment goes deeper than just a crash pad for Devlin and Kimmy. Devlin is planning on making a break from daddy from what was said in this chapter. We're not privy to the details yet but Kimmy has to be in Devlin's plans. Kimmy is becoming Devlin's confidant (as your lawyer can be). It'll be interesting how this weaves into the story. I can see the relationship on a business level getting more complex. If Devlin is doing what I think he is doing he'll have to have all his ducks in a row to keep from getting sued by his father. I could see a possible partnership being offered to Kimmy in the new firm. If that is the case Kimmy whole game plan is going to require some drastic modifications. As we've seen sexually "one and done" is gone and the two year plan is also going to be history too. Forget the cheating I could see the "Big Bucks" opportunity being more of a long term threat to Josh and Kimmy's marriage then "Big Cock"(you know a large male chicken, what did you think I referring to? Get out of the gutter people!). On the other hand I did have a wild thought what if this is just a dream sequence? We're still late Tuesday night early Wednesday morning the Waters are sleeping soundly in their bed. Kimmy is having an erotic dream. Too soap opera like?

RCH

Yea!!! we're backup to 91 Patreon supporters!

RCH

Thank you for the kind words. It's summer, no place to go, so we just hang out. Devlin's motives, other than fucking Kimmy, are something like, "Wait and See". From what was written, it appears he has a nefarious agenda.

DavidnDaria

DnD please don’t go back in the hole.. take your shoes off and stay a while.. This place is better with you being active. To your first comment, I too am wondering what Devlin’s motives are.. To me it’s a better story if he is trying to steal Kimmy away, but then again he could have other motives.. Personally I’d love a little bit of Devlin POV so we can get some insight into his brain. your second and third points are also correct, to me as this is a cheating wife story the likely hood of a HEA with Kimmy and Josh together seems slim.. Then again looking at statistic the fast majority of marriages survive an affair. So perhaps the ending isn’t a HEA, but something more realistic where they are trying to make it work.

Chinookfan72

I was thinking of it, nuclear, in terms of the affair.. Currently, staying with bomb themes, it’s like a laser guided rocket.. Sure there is damage, but it’s done in a way to reduce collateral damage and looks to preserve innocent life.. Nuclear would be much more explosive, less strategic, less worrying about collateral damage and the harm of innocent people.. So for the story I see nuclear as Kimmy becoming more comfortable and bold in regards to the affair.. She gets off on getting away with it and it seems like she thinks if Josh found out he’d be turned on.. Thus she wouldn’t need to hide it as much.. She could be seen in public with Devlin, she could hook up with Devlin at her apartment, she could fuck Devlin in the bar bathroom with Josh inside etc. etc. etc.

Chinookfan72

Trust is another issue. If there is no or wavering trust--and the latter is true in this story--only hell can happen. Maybe that's what KT is after, who knows? Back to the hole.

DavidnDaria

And then there's other side. So far, there has been limited fantasy play, there has been no reality. Kimmy is cheating. Josh finds it exciting that Kimmy has felt Devlin's goods, but what is he going to think or feel when Kimmy's cheating is revealed? From all I (Dave) has learned about things, there is power exchange, but power exchange does not happen without consent and it's something to consider in this story. Kimmy thinks she's in control and she may well be now, but control is something that is given, it is not taken. If Kimmy wants her relationship with Josh to continue, at some point, she's going to have to realize that Josh has all the power. ALL the power. Of course, if KT is going for the LHW story line, power exchange does not matter. So far, Kimmy is still a lying cheat. If this is not an LHW story, how they get to resolution is going to be interesting.

DavidnDaria

Here we go... One and done is long gone. She needs her Devlin fix to tide her over. Now the interesting parts happen. It's clear to us Kimmy has started conditioning Josh to accept Devlin. The next few days, especially at home tonight will be telling. Josh is terrified yet so charged now, that he is unable to think clearly when he's with Kimmy. Early on in this story, Devlin told Kimmy that she deserved better. We commented that we thought "better" meant Kimmy being taken away from Josh by Devlin. Wondering if this is going to happen? Better all around? Kimmy already has the job, she has the sex (all the sex--get it?), now it's up to her to decide just how far down the path she wishes to be taken. Back in the hole.

DavidnDaria

KT you shouldn't be ashamed at letting us see how the sausage is made! It's interesting. The 90 of us (sorry we lost 1) Pateon supporters all and all enjoy those insights in to the process. This just so engaging of a series. That's why I have to double up on my Xanax after I read a chapter to deal with the depression knowing I'll have to wait for the next chapter!

RCH

OK I get it. I’m restating the obvious I guess. Duh.... I just enjoy this story where the wife is taking the lead and bringing the husband in with her instead of the standard theme of the husband trying to draw in the wife.

CSH

Thanks, David.

Donkatsu

Hm, AA as in small? I think "klein" is a pretty old word, but there are different versions. Not long ago german had a lot of local dialects in use. There is not one old german I could point to. I can understand low german, there it could be kleen, lüttje, lüttke, minn, etc. In Bavaria they use "kloana". I don't know what Wagner would prefer, but I have never seen the "The Ride of the Valkyries", too.

DavidSilver

Oh, wow. I like the last paragraph. Teaching her husband to enjoy being cuckolded. That‘s an interesting view an could make a good story.

Nuclear would be Kimmy getting everything she thinks she wants right up until it all comes crashing down. With nuclear if the blast doesn’t get you the fallout will.

It’s good to know that Kimmy understands just how inconvenient and inappropriate panties are in her new position. Also, she has reached that “sweet spot” for all lawyers: value billing; something not usually attained at all in a lawyer’s career and certainly not at such a tender age. No need for our Kimmy to slice up her day into 6-minute increments and fill in time sheets, justifying her daily activities to the folks in the back office. Another excellent addition to the KT oeuvre. OT: in one of the videos of “The Ride of the Valkyries” one of the gals looks down the pants of a fallen warrior and makes an off-mic comment, apparently disparaging with regard to the corpse’s equipment, to the others. Question for David S: what is old German for “AA”?

Well please return to whatever headspace you were in when you wrote that section because you had me locked in.

What would nuclear be, ha ha?

OMG what another embarrassment!—Everybody's getting to see how the sausage is made here, ha ha. I was writing where people were nearby talking and that can short circuit my brain—was trying to think of the word limbo or purgatory and no matter how hard I tried they stayed out of my reach so I just wrote 'place of' as a note to myself to plug the right word in when my brain was working again.

KT Morrison

“If she didn’t make the effort to create new barriers, new rules, ones she could adhere to for once, where would it lead her? What would it do to her and Josh. And what about poor Josh? What about his heart? God, his sanity?” “If she let Devlin dominate her it would end her way of life, she knew it in her heart. He would sever her relationship with Josh—he would crush Josh.” “Now she straightened her spine, shook her head to disengage the awful tractor beam of that lustful thought, reminding herself not to submit to him.” We are getting to the crux of it now. For me, these are the most interesting quotes as they frame her dilemma. We have to admit that she might very well lose the fight with Devlin for dominance. This will be even more traumatic as it’s clear she knows what it means for her and Josh. Sexually I think she wants Devlin to dominate her and I would expect him to break her resistance to that and then use her to break Josh and destroy her marriage. (I’m not cheering him on, I just think that’s what’s going to happen.) Dark indeed. Plus, even if she gets her way, she’s decided to stop Devlin breaking her marriage by teaching her husband to enjoy being cuckolded. So her way to stop Devlin from crushing Josh is to crush Josh herself. Interesting to see where this goes from here.

I hope Devlin shows up in Cayman, but with a date! 😛 A sexy as hell girl who likes to show off and isn't shy about pleasing Devlin. Or someone from the past! Maybe someone who would injure Kimmy to see hanging all over Devlin.

I go back and forth on who’s wielding the power right now (or in Seinfeld parlance who has “hand”)...Kimmy or Devlin (Josh is right where he wants to be in dead last in hand). Right now it’s Kimmy...honestly she’s got both men eating out of her hands, and everything she could possibly want if she plays this right. Mind blowing sex with Devlin, really good sex with Josh (and mind blowing sex for him which she wants to give him)...growing power in her career. The question is if Devlin tries to reclaim some hand...first step would be to catch her off guard by coming to the Caymans. Cause in the end I don’t think she can really deny Devlin anything. I’m assuming he’ll show up down there. Devlin still holds the power to destroy this house of cards she’s building. Josh finding out the actual truth is probably a death blow to the marriage. But does Devlin really want to do that? I still say no...as Kimmy is figuring out he gets off on humiliating a clueless Josh as much as he does the sex.

As much as Kimmy loves to cater to Josh's kink, pushing those buttons to get the most of sex with him, she sure is learning how to push Devlin's too. She seems in control right now, let's see if she can maintain that! Micro moment - I loved how Kimmy felt like she lost the upper hand as Devlin one-upped her comment about Josh when he knew that the subject of Devlin's cock came up to in order to spice up their evening together.

JamesIsAsleep

yeah it could be a way for her to rationalize it too “I had to fuck Devlin today Josh, if I didn’t he’d show up in Cayman and fuck me there”. That is if Devlin let’s her leave the apartment still thinking Devlin isn’t going. I could see Devlin getting her to agree to him going during sex (Devlin could bring it up and she says no. Devlin asks why and she tells him because if this gets too serious it’ll ruin her relationship, and Devlin will have some witty reply about how good it feels etc. and eventually Kimmy will be like “fuck it! Fuck me now and come to Cayman and fuck me again. I don’t care I just want to be fucked by this cock all the time.”) or I could see Devlin thanking Kimmy for the good sex, but then saying something alluding to him looking forward to hooking up in Cayman or meeting her there etc. (just enough for her to realize her barter didn’t work and he is going to be there).

Chinookfan72

I hope this goes nuclear.

Kimmy now has two redeeming quality’s left a tight pussy, but not for long, and she’s a good lawyer!

This is one of the hottest stories I've read. Kimmy's intense desire for Devlin's size and alpha allure making her risk her happy marriage. KT has developed these characters to the point where I feel I'm reading about something that is actually happening. I get completely lost in this story even in short bites!

Wess

Good chapter! I wonder if the apartment comes with maid service? There is going to be a good deal of dirty linen generated in that apartment! Now the depression starts again and the waiting...

RCH

Agreed about Devlin showing up regardless of this conversation. I love that Kimmy has this concept out there and love the idea of her thinking that she got the situation covered by having this conversation, only to be blindsided by Devlin showing up. She would know deep down that if he wanted to he would anyways, but still.

JamesIsAsleep

fantastic chapter KT, can’t wait for the next one... Everything about this chapter was great especially Kimmy instigating the sex. Sure she told Devlin she doesn’t want him in Cayman, and it’s probably true, but when he shows up announced or Josh can’t make it for some reason and he just shows up at the airport she isn’t going to mind. It’ll be interesting to see if the Josh can’t go to Cayman and it’s just Kimmy and Devlin hanging out doing couples things does Devlin’s non-menacing side come out more and does Kimmy actually start to fall for Devlin and not just his dick... Time will tell.

Chinookfan72

My love of Kimmy's character just shot up immensely in this part, which is absolutely plastered with her rationale and bold moves and shows her complexities and weaknesses at the same time. I didnt predict that Kimmy would request that Devlin not come to the Cayman's, that was a shocker! I also (though I dont know why) didnt expect that she would want to mess with Devlin after her inner dialogue, which was phenomenal. That fourth paragraph (which you might want to revisit KT, you have a oddly placed phrase in parentheses) was absolutely phenomenal at explaining Kimmy's predicament. Devil in the Waters is doing it, KT, it is really starting to reach your all time greats.
