Best Husband Award Goes To . . .

Hey everybody

Things might be on the upswing for me, and I have some ideas for some changes to the Patreon that might be better for all of us. It's a per-7500-words patronage, so if I go tits up for a little bit I don't feel so anxious about not fulfilling my end of the dealio here. It would be something like $2 for every 7500 words, and you'd only pay for what I produce. You can let me know how you think below in the comments.

Now for fun, let's talk about the best husbands from my books! Who do you identify with, or admire, or feel the most fondness for? . . .

Comments

Wishing you well, KT!

Glaucon

Do we have a Jerry here on the form? It's good to see a man so close to the man upstairs, is okay with the lifestyle. I feel almost blessed. If a man of God can participate in hot wiving it must be Okay!

RCH

Jerry Falwell wife, a Hotwife?

Tim ziegler

KT, We're still sending you positive thoughts and energy and will continue for as long as it takes. Again, don't worry about this part of your world. Instead, focus on you. Be positive. Be absolutely positive. One step leads to another and a series of steps takes you somewhere--somewhere positive. We sincerely hope you won't read this until you're back in the "High Life", again. Sorry about the Stevie Winwood reference, but well... you know. :) Be well and you will be well. DnD

White sands, blue water, cool breeze... rest...

RCH

KT, We hope you're completely on the mend, but still resting, building up your strength. We continue to send you nothing but positive thoughts. Hang in there, KT.

I have to give vote to Harrison Wade ...He is suffering tremendously for the woman he loves. Taylor has turned to a insatiable sex monster in front of his eyes. Being pulled in so many direction. By the 2 most people he trust. And love in his world....This young is not married to the Love of his young life...but determined to stick. With her despite the amount of heartbreak coming his Way..waiting for the continuing story. ..he would get a honorable mention in this vote....

Michael Monroe

Got it. KT, take it easy, please!

Patreon ate my message. Let's see if I can better summarize my message. KT, like Sitri said, take my money. If taking my money makes you feel bad give yourself goals so that you can earn it, and then take my money. Either way, take my money. As for the poll, do more of these if it entertains you while you relax, because you deserve it. To answer your question I have three ways of going about it: strongest male character, most relatable male character and most entertaining male character. Geoff is the strongest because he had the most going for himself from the beginning of the story and had the most development of any of KT's dudes. I'm also very partial to Cherry Blossoms, so I am biased about anything to do with the story. Max is the most relatable male character for me because so much of what Max did and thought in 'Maggie' was stuff that I would have done in the same situation. Props to KT for being able to channel this man or type of a man in your story so accurately. Most entertaining male character is Jonny. The other guys I mentioned are great and all but Jonny is forced to deal with so much stuff from Reza, et al. It's really fun.

JamesIsAsleep

Just take my money KT. Just take it. I'll support you. Also, best husband award? Most angst? Most supportive? Most alpha? I've already voted btw. ;)

Sitri

Chinookfan72 sums it up for me also.

RCH

My sentiments exactly on your feelings with KT. If you want to contribute to feel better about life, fine, but if you would rather just stay away, do that. Maybe pick back up drawing? I have been kind of loving the image in my head of Josh and Kimmy juxtaposed in the same moment in time. Kimmy making money moves with a Devlin in her butt, while Josh stands in a gift shop picking out postcards, quite a visual, lol.

JamesIsAsleep

I am fine with the money. Just want the weekly dose of chapters, even if you can’t write much.

VN

I totally agree with Chinook!

Tim ziegler

Geoff by far but Nia was an important part of that package. I kinda still have a crush on her. Max was beyond frustrating for me. If he had just ripped the ring off and the story ended, that would have worked for me. Way too wimpy. Big assist from Maggie stringing him along while falling for his best friend. She still bothers me. Now Keely has piqued my interest... Re the cost thing, I get that you might feel like you're taking advantage while not able to write. Just send a bonus drawing. Or not. Can't wait to have you healthy and delightfully devious in your writings. But no pressure at all.

Wess

i can see switching the lower tiers to a pay by word model, but please don’t remove the $15 option. Unless you are going to be able to produce 56,250 words a month you are just cutting your earnings unnecessarily. What you have historically provided greatly exceeds $15 in value to me so I’d hate to see you sell yourself short.

Chinookfan72

Interesting that Geoff gets most votes. He gets mine as well chiefly because he maintained his own respect and therefore mine too. I’m happy with the monthly pledge that way I know the cost. I understand output will vary. I like the conversations nearly as much as the content. I get a lot more out of the stories that way, give us more Geoff characters: strong men with batshit crazy wives.

Tracey52

It seems to me that most creators that charge per-item (or pledge) are trading deadline stress for consistent cashflow. Quite honestly from the patron standpoint it doesn't seem to matter much and I'll happily support your work either way.

Vitreous Humour

Husbands/significant others: I always thought Max was realistic, he screwed up young as well. Always thought that was a realistically painful ending. I’d have to back and look at some of the others.

CSH

Geoff. Not a wimp, just caught up with a woman who went out of control. He's a good person, caught up in a whirlwind. Max. I had a lot of problems with Max in Maggie because he surrendered everything to Cole. Now that I know more about cuckolding, I have at least a little understanding why. Now, I understand he needs it. It's who he is. Keely understands that, too. Tommy. Guido impression aside, he's a voyeur/stag. He gets off on Sukie being "awful". Then there's that damn epilogue. Why can't I get by that the story is over? Two words, repeated. Just how awful is Sukie being and does Tommy know?

DavidnDaria

Geoff and Tommy are my favorite and pull for Jonny he done something really stupid at a young age. He didn’t seem to get any help or mentoring at home ,but still trying to stand up to Reza and his thugs liking the under dog theme.KT thing are fine the way thy are with me!

Tim ziegler

Husbands: Geoff, Max, and Tommy. Here's why for each.

DavidnDaria

KT, Please keep our membership at the current level. We're with Red, just concentrate on getting better. I had to laugh.... Tango Uniform from you! Not laughing if it's permanent, just that I hadn't heard that in a LONG, LONG time!

DavidnDaria

If having people pay by the word increases your income and decreases the pressure to constantly write then go for it. You could do that, or fiddle with the levels, there’s no $10 level for example. Maybe a higher minimum and a lower maximum would even things out. You could also just engage once a week or so, not even posting chapters, but just engaging, questioning, speculating etc. That would be fine. It would keep the Patreon lively and reduce the pressure to post chapters. As for TF’s point, it’s always been cheaper for us just to buy the books. Most of us here probably buy them anyway. I think the value added on the Patreon is the community and the discussion, especially with your engagement here. Other than the semi-serious “hurry up I need a fix” posts we sometimes throw in there I’d note that no one here has complained about your productivity. You are pressuring yourself unnecessarily. It’s the creative process so sometimes it floods out and at other times it stops for a while. I think most of us are ok with that. You just need to figure out how to make this work best for you.

CSH

Oh yeah, Geoff is my man and Tommy is a close second.

TF

To me, patreon is primarily for the support for the artist in the same manner as a grant would be. Secondarily it is for the work itself. But if it is better for you to directly link payment to word count then that's fine with me. However, I sort of expect newcomers may be less likely to join and simply wait for the book to come out based on cost efficiency. Probably a small point but appearances matter. As others have already said about their support, mine is also simply because you are a talented writer and not because I get so many words per week. I would probably read you if you wrote about gardening. Writing quality is not directly proportional to topic or word count.

TF

I enjoy you writing so doesn't matter the amount as long as you keep producing the quality of work you have ..and you are proud of. The voting is tough I am torn between Geoff/Max/Pete/Josh...all good husband's who kink gets the better of them.

Michael Monroe

I would rather you be happy creating the content you want than feeling obligated to hit a specific milestone of word count. That will always lead to more stress and a worse product IMO. We're supporting you on patreon because we love your books not because you need to provide us 7,500 words. :)

Darklord Comics

I really don't care too much, how I pay you, but if the per-word thing makes you sleep better, than that seems like a good enough reason to me. On the voting: That's hard. Not voting on the stories and more on the characters, I chose Harrison. But there are a few close seconds.

DavidSilver

Your idea per 7500 words is not necessary. We need you to get better is all.

RCH

Lol, I think this an odd question for me because of how I enjoy these stories. Generally I like the fact the husband has a hard time with their fantasies and desires and how they struggle with things they should be ashamed of and turn them on. But I don't really identify with any of them. I think asking which Marriage did you find most interesting might be better since some will like the husband because they are having a hard time with the shame and humiliation whereas others will like them because they stick up for themselves and always keep control.
