In a lot of respects it doesn’t even need to be a story on Patreon, just explorations. That might be a way to keep a certain branding on Amazon and explore other avenues privately. Those would just be drafts but they would be ways to try out ideas without committing to them. Look at the way we have responded to these polls.

I guess the question is whether this is a tragedy? They are addicts so they will likely all act compulsively and self-destructively when they are “high” and when they get the itch to get high. That being the case we should accept that Kimmy may unintentionally break Josh’s spirit irrevocably. But if the story is going to be more than the standard hotwife silliness it’s going to have to run real risks and that means real pain for Josh. And yes, like other addicts Josh may consider suicide when he realizes how far he has fallen. That doesn’t mean he has to do it. It may just lead him to be a harder more mature but very different person. KT has shown the willingness to end these stories in ways that are more realistic than other authors in the genre.

It is one thing to role play and another to be hit in the face with the reality of his cherished wife’s betrayal with his life-long nemesis. KT in her major novels has managed a high level of verisimilitude that persuades the reader to “buy in”. Going off the deep end humiliation-wise without ugly consequences would lessen its impact in my eyes. Just my opinion…I’ll read what comes down the pike...I need to know how it ends (ha).

Devlin, in public not acting too badly around Josh, just constantly throwing around digs and barbs. Maybe a little too flirty and close to Kimmy but he charms Josh’s friends into being of the opinion that he’s a bit self-centered but a pretty cool guy. And there must not be anything going on if Josh is cool with him. Then they go home and Josh ties Kimmy to their bed so Devlin can brutally fuck her.

He would have to make up a platonic reason the two of them are so close and chummy when he also believes they are screwing. I don’t think we should take that as Kimmy screwing Devlin in front of Josh’s brother or anything. I think it’s just everybody’s gossiping behind their backs.

And if KT still has a lot more planned then I think it only gets better because there will be more development along the way. We the reader know but Josh is the character who doesn't know anything and suspects only. He's in the dark and everything is either Kimmy telling him or he's imagining it. Sucking Devlin's cock may be a ultimate humiliation and could be incorporated into Kimmy taking charge but to me, Kimmy getting pregnant would be the best. Kimmy and Josh stays together and they raise Devlin's child. The ultimate humiliation and betrayal. But for some reason I'm thinking pregnancy may be thrown out the window. Hmm....we shall see. KT, I've thoroughly enjoyed these polls and discussions. Whether it helps plan the next steps for the book or not, I liked reading everyone's input. But I no longer see a "couple" in the classical sense. Unless Devlin ends up in jail or underground, is the only way I see Kimmy staying with Josh. Kimmy already chose Dev over Josh and therfore no longer sees Josh as her equal partner. Their relationship is now one of supply and demand. Thirdly, curious minds are wondering do you actually have 9 levels where this story could go and you just want to see which one we want to go with? KT, I know you're just littered with time (lol), when you've done your story can you share with us maybe your general stories that you would have gone with had we chosen a different route. If you're really bored, maybe even giving us the different directions in story format? Seriously though, I'd like to at least know what the different levels would have ended up in some top-level detail once the dust has settled. Give us the deets! What the hell is past level 5!?!

Personally, I think naturalistic humiliation in those ranges is more humiliating than the stylized ritual of a lot of traditional femdom stuff. Also, it's tricky and subjective what the sorting order of humiliation would be. Most of us want to be surprised by how you take it rather than say, take it this way or that. Usually, I'd go as high as I can out of curiosity...but that level of escalation seems unnatural and feels like you'd have to extend the story another two books to do it, and I don't think the story can go on for that long.
