The ENGINEER - Rough Sketch.
Added 2017-06-18 03:36:30 +0000 UTCAs you can see, when I first started sketching my Engineer illustration, I intended to add a couple of other Engineers in full pressure suits a bit further off into the background. But as I got further along, I realized that I wanted to showcase one Engineer alone for maximum visual impact.
In the end, I'm glad I went this route. It also permitted me to include some nasty Xenormorphs in the final version which I'm so glad I got to do. XD
PS -- Also, after the insane amount of time it took me to ink just the single pressure suit, I'm glad I left out these other two Engineers. Two more suits mighta driven me bonkers!

HA HA HA! Okay, I WILL!! XD You BOTH make very good points. I think I tend to let that annoying little voice of negativity stop me from posting more WIPS. And here it's all the more fascinating as we discover what could have been, and why it didn't happen.

They seem so raw and unpolished compared to final pieces, but I know people like seeing this stage. I love other people's WIPS... just not my own so much! LOL!
