To say that there's currently a lot of clown imagery in pop culture is an understatement. For example, we have the revival of PENNYWISE from IT, and the fearsome TWISTY and his evil clown posse on AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT. Toss in sexy SHIVERS the clown from the film FEAR OF CLOWNS, and you have THREE of my personal fave made-up maniacs!
My love of clowns certainly isn't a recent thing, though. The truth is that I've actually LOVED clowns ever since I was a little kid. I've been drawing STEPHANE the clown since the early 90s, and I guess I just felt like adding my own take on the "killer clown" into the mix.
In any case, it's very exciting to introduce PRICKLES to you guys, here first, before anyone else meets him... well, anyone except maybe poor Zachariah! Heh Heh Heh!

So happy you like the pose -- I really wanted it to make a statement!! And I do love clowns... scary of otherwise... I think they can be quite beautiful... and in Prickles' case, quite HOMOCIDAL! LOL!

2017-09-18 03:08:46 +0000 UTCWow, that guy is REALLY scary!! Very well done! On the other hand, after a second look, he`s somehow sexy again, that`s a feat only a few artists can probably pull off. It was the same with Stephane, he was the first clown that I thought was sexy after I first saw him. That wasn`t something I ever expected from clowns... That just shows your skill with male beauty <3
