Working on... PUMA!

If you've read the freshly released STAR CROSSED #2, written by yours truly and illustrated by the fabulous Alexander, then you've met this cool new cat: PUMA!
Puma's a Felinoid, just like Cam, and he's the first NEW Felinoid I've designed in what must be nearly 10 years!
While he and Cam come from the same home world, the two characters could NOT be more different. Puma is no-nonsense and driven, and he literally lives for danger... I guess you could say he's a bit of a thrill seeker, while Cam just sorta FALLS into the lap of danger.
Puma's introduced in the second issue of the "Star Crossed" series as a stripper turned spy, and I just had to draw him for myself this month.
Physically, I think this cat is completely beautiful with his half shaved head, beard and striking BLUE eyes (blue eyes are exceptionally RARE in Felinoids)! Aaaaand... you may be surprised to see where he turns up next! XD

It's sorta tricky to remember 'cause I came up with Cam and the Felinoids when I was like 12 years old! But essentially, I created Cam first and I went about creating his background shortly after that. I've always loved cats and I liked the idea of an alien race of Felinoids... and then it hit me -- what a great name for the race! HA HA HA! It sorta stuck and I haven't looked back since. Despite that, though, it was literally years before I would create any other actual Felinoid characters. Lanor was next, I believe... but that's another story altogether!! 😊XOXO

Like I said to Michael, you'll get to see Puma in LOVE LOST #2 pages, and he'll be in STAR CROSSED #3 as well. I love the character a whole bunch, so I'm doing my best to insert him into as much as I can! LOL! XD
