DRAKE'S ORDEAL - page 01 - Letters!

It's such a thrill finally seeing the letters on the first page of my new mini comic "DRAKE'S ORDEAL"! You'll notice I decided DRAKE should cost a LOT more in the final art than he initially did in the sketch! LOL!
The tricky thing about writing a character like Drake is that he belongs to my friend. A) I don't want to disappoint Hotcha, and B) it can be tricky nailing down Drake's "voice". I want him to "sound" and "feel" authentically "Drake", after all. Although, truth be told, Drake won't get to say much in this... dude's feelin' a kinda on energy, as you can see. XD
Okay, so here's how this will work. Pages 1 and 2 will be out in March, and then pages 3 and 4 (I'm assuming there will be a fourth page) will be out in April.
THEN, as part of the April rewards for the LEGENDS and above tiers, I'll compile a very cool, very special "FILLION TRIBUTE TO DRAKE" PDF, which will showcase this new mini comic as well as ALL the Drake art I've created over the years, sketches etc... Sound fun? Oh, It will be!! XD

But I love it. Then again, I also really appreciate your way of keeping the text to a minimum and still being able to convey so much story. It's awesome!! :D

Yeah, Hotcha asked me to turn Drake into a beaten wuss in this story, because he himself so rarely gets to see his own character that way -- I was all to happy to oblige him! I love Heroes in Peril, and I love the idea of taking an arrogant character like Drake and taking him down a notch or, you know, TWELVE! LOL! Unfortunately for Drake, he won't be back to his usual self in this mini-comic... buuuuut you'll be seeing more of LORIS the red Sektan soon. 2018-03-19 04:58:17 +0000 UTCAt first, I felt a bit disappointed, even though Drake looks hot as hell in your style, his face seemed a bit too unmanly and less rebellious for my taste, but then again, the lettered page brought light as to why he looks so weak in this panel, thank god that it all made sense in the end ^^ I hope he gets his overconfident look back at the last page <3 Also, I have to point out that this red Sektan stud in the background hits all my buttons!!! Red is always a nice colour for a bad guy, and all those scars and his short windpipes sure make him look so bad and manly, I love that! He surely has to get a place in the spotlight in the future once you don`t have an idea for your next sketch <3<3<3
