Don't worry, you didn't miss page 1... I haven't drawn it yet. LOL!
This page was a test, to see how my "shaded sketch" art style would look in a comic page format! And I must say... I rather LIKE IT!
Yes, it's a little looser than my usual art style, but I won't lie, it's a lot faster, and almost more fun, because I'm less stressed about how "perfect" every single line is.
So I'm gonna forge ahead with this comic in this style. I think once color is added, it's all gonna be pretty striking and fun! I'll keep you posted!
Meanwhile, a little context: This will be a page from an ISAIAH SHADE comic I've written called GAY FOR SLAY! After his experience with the devil on the shelf (in the pages of Jacko's Horny Halloween Tales #1), Isaiah has discovered that his body can destroy evil entities, demons and spirits. If they enter him, they're TOAST! Yup... straight boy needs to give up his ass on a regular basis in order to fight evil. LOL!
Now he's become a slayer of monsters, helping those in need of his services, and every job leads him closer to (hopefully) getting his wife Abby back.
Oh... and it's gonna be INSANELY RAUNCHY! But honestly, would you expect any less from yours truly? ;)

I think this is another added bonus to the shaded sketch style... you do get a sense of fluidity that sometimes gets lost when a sketch is "traditionally inked". I think the initial energy that gets put into the image, or in this case, the page, seems to stay there and I really love that. I'm really excited to explore this and to bring you guys the results!
