DEVILMAN: demon slayer - SKETCH wips!
Added 2018-02-02 23:00:01 +0000 UTCSo, the tricky thing about drawing DEVILMAN is that I wanted to do the character justice by capturing his essence, but I also wanted to be sure and give him that "Fillion flavor" you've come to expect from me. LOL! My own twist, if you will.
I went back to the source material for inspiration, and realized that my favorite version of the character -- the version I find the sexiest -- is how he's drawn/animated in "CYBORG 009 vs DEVILMAN"!
And then this happened!
While the sketch is pretty rough and scratchy, I've already completed the inks... and let me tell you, I am a happy camper! I'll share the finished inks and colors very soon.
You can expect several variants for this one... including a fun tentacle version, because I can't be the only one who thinks that DEVILMAN would totally get sexually savaged by most of the monsters and demons he has to face, right?
