Sorting through a bunch of my old files this weekend, it occurs to me that for every finished piece I create, I have a shit ton of discarded, crappy sketches. But sometimes, even the most junky sketch can have some worth to it.
So, here's a look at some of the discarded, unloved, unrefined, and just plain cruddy sketches I've cast aside.
Thing is, you never know with these. Sometimes, I'll pick one of 'em up down the road and work them over, refining them into something worth a damn.
Art's funny that way! Never get rid of anything because you never know -- someday, it may inspire you again in some way!

Sometimes it's about starting with a good concept and working your way up from there. Deimos getting rimmed with bound hands, and Warren getting ravaged by the Sharkman... always concepts I enjoy.
