VALLAN - Shaded Sketch!
Added 2018-05-15 15:52:59 +0000 UTCWe don't see VALLAN the satyr very much these days -- not since he last appeared in SPACE CADET #3, at any rate, but I still love drawing this sexy faun from time to time.
When he was first introduced in a story called "The Great Satyr Caper", we weren't sure if he was a good guy or a bad guy, but I think we can all agree on one thing... he's one sexy beast! XD
I chose to make him a little smaller physically in this illustration, in keeping with how my dear friend David Cantero drew him in the Space Cadet books. I rather like how it makes him look -- less rooted in superhero comics and somehow, more traditionally "creature of fantasy".

Thanks very kindly, Arkid43! I had a lot of fun with this one... and I loved drawing the armbands and golden accessories on him, too. I find them very sexy and I'm glad you do too. His pose was also a lot of fun... and it's funny, because I just realized he's one of the only "full body" shaded sketch guys I've drawn to date! It just suited him, I guess! And his accessoiares, especially those rings on his upper arms always turned me on, it looks great on him! I also love the position he is in right now, all his body looks amazing, but especially his pecs and abs look phenomenal in that stance. Great artwork!
