KING DEIMOS! Page 01 - line art!

I've literally been DYING to start posting this new KING DEIMOS comic! I'm super excited to finally share page 1 with you guys!
For this new 8-page short story, I approached the line art in the same way I sketch my shaded sketches: Quick and dirrrrty and much more loosely than I usually draw and ink comic pages. So it's straight to inked line art and I think the end result is super fun because it's MUCH HEAVIER on solid blacks (or you know, purples) than my usual comic pages.
More on this story itself is coming up because the colors are NEXT! Stick around!! XD

2018-06-14 14:45:05 +0000 UTCOOOOOH -- you absolutely should! It's so liberating to just draw for the energy and fun of it. I just let the pencil go and I let my hand take me where it wants... I'm sure you would absolutely create some pretty awesome stuff in this technique too. I really look forward to it if you decide to try!! :D :D
