BELVADAR and ZAYD - Colors!

Today, I thought I'd share the BELVADAR and ZAYD illustration I created for my Patron, Zayd Paulsen!
I have to say, the background kinda kicked my ass on this one! LOL! Nothing seemed to work until it FINALLY did! But sometimes, that's how it goes. Backgrounds are so important because they have to help the characters pop. If things are too muddy, they can lose their impact and focus.
Anyway, I'm so pleased with this... it's like some sunrise in a canyon somewhere, with these two hotties shining in all their hard, nekkid, muscular glory!
Belvadar belongs to my friend, Dinosaurprince. Zayd, of course, belongs to Mr. Paulsen. This fabulous hook-up was a total BLAST to draw. I hope you enjoy the finished result.

I started over and over again until I finally (thank GOD!) created something that I liked and that I felt worked well with the characters. And you are quite right -- sometimes these things are such a struggle... but the best thing is to keep at it! Eventually, we are successful! LOL! Merci encoure, mon cher CLX!! XXOO :D :D

But I really know what you mean: sometimes you struggle so much between what you had in mind, what you produce and finally what need the characters. As we told before in can be them who drive us to the right spot (Damn, it sounds nasty suddenly lol)!
