Heh! Heh! Thanks, my friend. I always use my own hands as reference for these sort of poses. It's very helpful. As for the texture, that's all Hernan and his coloring genius. I agree, it's quite effective! :D :D

I do love that the line art for this page and the colored version give off such different effects and impressions. I think there will always be a certain amount of line art detail that is sacrificed to color detail... but that's why I like to post this stage of the process too. The detail and effort in the line art is important, I feel, because without it, the color would have less direction to go. :D

2018-07-09 17:27:03 +0000 UTCThe line art version of this is transcendent. The curling of the mist gives it a dream-like quality that isn't as apparent in the colored version (which is still gorgeous, of course).
