Here's another fun BONUS REWARD for today... One of the new FAUX COVERS I recently whipped up for ANI-MALES #50!
I guess this layout is sort of a blend between old Marvel and DC covers from the 70s and 80s. That big black margin on the left side showing off the main characters is something both companies ended up doing here and there. I love that it gives this Faux Cover such a sense of excitement and "specialness". If the ANI-MALES series had continued (and, to be clear, I'm not saying it never will... it's on a creative hiatus, one might say) we might have seen a milestone cover similar to this one. XD

Awww -- thank you so much, cher CLX! I'm just really passionate about comics from that time period. So many of my favorite childhood memories center around classic comics from the late 70s and early to late 80s. As for Spot and his collar, I always imagined that for some reason it's pretty special to him, because, you're totally right, he'd never wear something that makes him feel like a "pet" otherwise. That's gonna be a fun aspect of his past to explore someday! XOXO 😘😊

All jokes aside, it's funny how their positions are reversed for me with Wisti being at the top for me instead of Spots, with his hairy body cept for the monkey-man parts that matter, followed by harry and then even though he's still very sexy, spot on the bottom. I still wonder if a past love gave him that necklace with his name, considering he hates being compared to a pet but he still wears that.
