BRIGAYDE #235 - FAUX COVER "Avengers Homage" - Layout.

I present the all-new BRIGAYDE #235 FAUX COVER... homage to the AVENGERS #235 cover by Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott.
The very first time I ever laid eyes on the SCARLET WITCH was on the cover of Marvel's AVENGERS #235. It was love at first sight! Since then, that issue remains one of my all-time favorite comics, like, EVER!!
I've always really loved the original cover art by Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott, and so for my up-coming BOOK OF FAUX COVERS, I thought it would be really fun to pay homage to that particular comic cover, and recreate it using UNCLE TORO and members of the BRIGAYDE: GOLDEN BOY, DEVILHOUND and RED VELVET!
I have to admit, this took WAAAAAY more time than I expected, particularly because I am totally OCD and HAD to recreate the technological machinery border as EXACTLY as possible. But Lordy, am I glad I took the time. This was sooooo much fun to work on!
Sure, this isn't a cover of "sexual peril" by any means, but think of it this way: Once Toro incapacitates these three hunky heroes, he's gonna strip 'em up and tie 'em down! THEN the sexual peril comes into play! LOL! Besides, my BOOK OF FAUX COVERS is CHOCK FULL of sexy studs up to their nipples in peril... "ACTUAL no-sexual peril" might be a nice change of pace for these three! XD

And you're right -- She-Hulk wore just a plain, sorta BOOOORING orange one-piece thing with shin-high leather boots. She got better threads down the road, that's for sure! LOL!
