While I prepare the rest of this month's new artwork and variants, I thought I'd share another new FAUX COVER with you... along with an exciting piece of news.
First, the new faux cover! ZAHN: Saga of the Son of Winter #48! It wouldn't be a "faux cover" without the titular hero in some kind of peril, and I've always really liked this illustration of Zahn and his ABHUN BEAST friends. Also that Zahn logo feels SOOOO RETRO to me. I drew it by hand for this very cover, but I think that when the REAL Son of Winter Saga series comes out, I may use this logo for the covers too.
And now, the news. Fraser and I have decided to release a printed collection/book of my FAUX COVERS later this year. It's gonna be extremely limited, but also super cool because it'll feature the "faux covers" and the actual, finished art piece that was used to create them.
I'm plugging away creating enough of my faux covers for the book and I'm aiming for about 20 - 25 covers. I'll keep you all posted on my progress and let you know as soon as Class is ready to make the book available.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy seeing this ZAHN piece from last February in this fun new layout.

CLOSE... to one another. ;) And I do believe you recall correctly concerning the Abhun Beasts. I think that the Zahn Secret Dossier revealed that tidbit a few years back. Good memory!! :D
