I'm BACK!

 TL;DR:

• I’m back for May and I’ve made some changes! 
• I’ll follow my inspiration, rather than create what I feel I HAVE to draw in terms of comics. 
• The SHADED SKETCH, LUMINARY and MYTHICAL tiers have all been retired. 
• I’ll introduce new ways for Patrons to request images. 
• I can’t answer every comment anymore, but I’ll continue to read them all and deeply appreciate them... and answer often as possible.
• Thanks for standing by me, Guys. You're the freaking BEST!! 

Hello, Guys! 

I hope you’ve had a terrific April. I gotta say, I sure missed you all while I was resting up last month! It’s really good to be back! 

Taking April off did me a world of good, though. I was able to rest up, mentally, creatively and physically, and I’m feeling a lot better these days. I was also able to make some decisions on what Patreon will look for me going forward. 

With some perspective, I realized that I’ve been treating Patreon like it’s a pay site, when in fact, what it should be is a means by which I share with you what I’m inspired to create in the moment. This is a window into my creative life for you guys, and I want to get back to the essence of that. If my previous way of running things got outta control, I have no one to blame but myself! LOL! 

What this means is that I’m no longer going to pressure myself to create entire 24-page comics the way I did with “Gay for Slay” #1 and drawing 2-4 pages for those every month, for example. I’m gonna go with my creativity and follow my muse where it takes me. If that means that a few months go by between project pages, then I have to be okay with that. I'm going to start applying that immediately with ZAHN #4 and other projects I started prior to taking April away.

Additionally, I’ve retired the SHADED SKETCH, LUMINARY and MYTHICAL tiers, and once I’ve drawn a final request for each Patron currently on those tiers, they'll be closed for good.  I’ll find other ways to accept requests and solicit Patron opinions for art whenever I can. You guys know I love your suggestions, and I've drawn many in the past. In fact, I've a BIG ONE coming up this month... More on that soon. 

Lastly, it breaks my heart, but I can't answer every single comment I receive anymore. On average I used to spend hours per week doing this. I figure my time will be better spent drawing more art for you. Of course, I’ll continue to read and deeply appreciate your comments… and I hope this doesn’t mean you’ll stop writing them. I will NEVER stop reading them… they're my FUEL!! And this doesn’t mean I won’t answer EVER, either. It just means I’ll try and balance my time more efficiently.

I have to admit, being OCD, this will all be something of a challenge for me to get used to, but I think that with your help, I’ll manage and this new version of my Patreon Campaign will be even better than before. 

May is gonna be AWESOME… and I have a very special something coming up for all of you… in fact, it’s one of the most Patron-requested “thing”, like, EVER! So... STAY TOONED!!  

I’ll leave it at that for now, but I want to thank you all once again for your kind patience and understanding, and for the continued Patronage. I adore you guys and I appreciate you so much… so again, THANK YOU!
