BONUS REWARD - "Passing the Torch" (2016) Part 01!

While you wait for me to complete more of this month's new rewards and art, I thought I'd share this STRIPSHOW EPISODE with you as a BONUS REWARD! This strip dates back to 2016 and is the story in which NAKED JUSTICE asks SPACE CADET to also become a Naked Justice!
This was back when I was drawing and inking everything on art board with pencil and ink. Nowadays, I do everything digitally, but there's a side of me that misses the tactile sensations of creating the "traditional" way.
Back when this comic came out, it caused some ripples among the Class Comics fans -- a real divide, in fact. Some people liked that BYRON was becoming the new NAKED JUSTICE, while others did not. For some, there was only one true NJ, and that's FELIX HIMNER!
It's been three years since this story came out, and people still have definite opinions about it, which I think is only normal. Change is strange for all of us, but I've enjoyed writing Byron in his new role. And of course, Felix is NOT GONE. He still appears in "THE LEGACY" comics which I write and TOM CRAY illustrates. And you KNOW that someday soon, both NJs will have to be reunited! That's gonna be pretty awesome!
Whichever camp you fall into, I hope you'll enjoy this behind the scenes look at this 4-part short comic. Page 2 is coming up right away, and I will share the last 2 pages before the end of September.

It's first mentioned in DEIMOS #0 and, then in DEIMOS #1 we see an actual glimpse of the war itself. Now with the LEGACY mini-series, we're seeing more of the events that lead directly to it, and of course with the BRIGAYDE series, too. It's all part of the greater, overall story arc that connects all the core Class Comics titles and characters! 😁😁But beyond that, I don't wanna say more -- SPOILERS, you know! 😂😘
